Arin WISHES he could be at DSPs level. At least when Phil is bumbling around you can have a laugh at him and when you call him out he calls you a fucker after banning you.
With Arin, his content is so dull and uninspired that it's miserable to watch. You can call him out but he won't ever acknowledge, his rabid fans will.

I’ll still never understand the appeal of let’s play channels that are essentially story time podcasts with a video game in the background.
Their audiences are massive, but they make even less sense than an actual let’s play

Pretty sure it's just for background noise. There's a few channels I throw on when I'm playing a game just to have something to listen to.

with oney & co, they do riff on the games they play (and it's often hilarious). they're pretty much the only lp channel i watch these days though.

@15:00 Chris tells a story about how when he was asleep at the Grumps' Office, two creators of a cartoon show woke him up because they autisticly wanted to play a Super Mario Pinball Machine, despite there being a sleeping man next to it.
The editor cuts out the part where Chris tells Corey it was the Grumps' Office & when it cuts back to the story Chris is upset. In the story Chris names Arin as well, & it is the Grumps' Office because they do own a Super Mario Pinball Machine, at least that's what people in the comments say, & I believe them. The two cartoon creators are most likely Dan Harmon & Justin Roiland the creators of Rick & Morty. I don't know about Justin, but Dan is confirmed to be autistic & even wrote it into the show that Rick was too. The Dan Harmon has been on Game Grumps before & both of them have been to the office. Also, I'm not going to look for it, but I remember hearing Arin say in one episode that Justin Roiland was on the show to play Metroid Prime, but they couldn't use any of the footage because Justin kept kicking the recording equipment when he was playing, so maybe he's autistic too.

Untrue, albeit Arin lets Allie do it. Allie will have you banned even if Arin or Dan specifically asked to be backseat gamed (and of course the response they'd usually get that'd get people banned is "Stop listening to Allie and pull out a guide FFS").

There's also an interesting tidbit on one of the tweets that I'd like to point out (apologies if I'm late of if it was mentioned before in the thread):
On the surface that would mean Chris didn't pay him for some videos that got fucked up on the editing process and such. Except...
It wouldn't be out of character for the Grumps management to fuck up this badly (considering DD also mentioned people on the development team for Dream Daddy felt like shit while working on the project), but someone else knows more details about this?
