There are some companies that just spam sponsorships, like NordVPN. Dollar Shave Club and Audible. Some channels try to make the sponsorships work by putting them like a minute or two before the end of the video or in the middle but bigger channels I think know that people just skip it and it cuts up the flow of the video so they put it at the beginning or end and get by on name or subscriber count.

Yeah I know how sponsors work, I just think it’s weird that SMG4 marketed to the niche demographic of bearded children.

Found an interesting post on rant grumps. The grumps used to have a master list of all the games that fans have sent them. This was so people didn't waste their money on sending duplicate games, especially since some rare games sent to them are expensive a.f. the grumps how now made the list private. Any guesses to why? Below is the reddit post.
That game list has been up forever; it's express purpose being so that fans interested in sending the Grumps a game could double check to make sure they weren't sending them a duplicate.

Well, now when you click the link to that list, it states that you need permission to view it.

Since when did people need permission to see that list?

Edit: heard back from a mod. They confirmed the decision was on the Grumps end; but they (the mods) are as clueless as we are in regards to the reason why this decision was made. They'll be in touch if they hear anything.

One of the folks who responded to that thread said they first noticed the list was disabled back in August of this year. They tweeted at Arin to ask about it; and - no surprise - got no answer.

The Grumps supposedly aren't in favor of people making assumptions of them; and yet, pull stunts like this. Whatever happened to working on their communication skills?

There could not be a more obvious reason for this. They so clearly want to ensure they get more duplicate games just to resell them

This is why they really need to work on their communication skills; shady shit like this really doesn't help improve people's opinions of them/how they treat their fanbase.

Wow, feels like not a long time ago where we first saw her in the Flex 2 video. Jesus.

Whatever there was between Jon and Arin, even after the "make up", is definitely dead since Arin tardraged about wrong opinions after the infamous Destiny debate. Good on Jon for just keeping his head down and staying out of drama. The truth ending up coming out for the most part anyway.
