This might be too personal, but can we see what you look like?

Oh wow I did not expect that response from you about a pic. Suck it Kiwis.

Trying this again (the picture is about a year old, taken just before I attended an ex's wedding). Also, I'm painfully unphotogenic, so I apologize in advance.

Thanks for coming here and answering questions. I have nothing to ask but just had to thank you for your time and effort for being here.

My question is simply do you think that you and Phil could ever be friends again, even knowing everything he's done not just to you but others? Your life has been interesting to say the very least and you seem like a decent guy. Cheers.

Welcome to the farms and thank you for all your answers! You seem to have lived through some shit and I hope you get the help you deserve.

For the questions:
In my experience autistic youths sometime "lock down" (refusing to move on and getting aggressive when told to) when they encounter something they find fascinating. Do you recall any situation when Phil locked down?

Did phil receive any type of qualified help or therapy for his autism when you hanged with him?

Parents of autistic children often feel ashamed of their childs condition (blaming themselves for no good reason) and often "try" to make them normal. Phil's mother seems like a decent lady but has she ever acted in a way that you think was detrimental to his mental wellbeing by trying to normalise him?

I've stated my opinion on Phil's gender identity once already, namely, how long does it have to go on before it's no longer a lie?
By this logic, if I spend enough time pretending to be George Bush, it will eventually be true.

The length of time you spend repeating something has no bearing on whether or not it is true. Phil has done nothing to demonstrate he is trans beyond changing his name and squeaking out easily debunked lies online.

I believe in second chances. I believe in atonement. Thus, I have to believe it is possible Phil can redeem himself. It's an extremely uphill battle. He has his work cut out for him. I'm not even going to say it's got odds I'd put money on, but, y'know, if a tiny puddle of chemicals can spontaneously form an amino acid and perpetuate life that will someday cover an entire planet, anything's possible.

I do not recall Phil ever "locking down."
I did not pry into Phil's psychiatric status while we were in college. I felt that's the sort of thing he'd tell me if he wanted me to know.
Knowing what I know now, if anything, she may have been too aggressive in denying the existence of a problem in the first place. Should have a thread up later this evening elaborating on this a bit.

Nice with some more info. In what way did she try to "integrate" him? Did she want him to only attend non-sped classes or did she outright oppose psychiatric help?

Lookin' stylish homes!

According to Joyce, she spoiled him as lavishly as she could, and almost never punished him, just nodding and accepting his behavior.

You could have just said "no".

Awwww shiiiiiieeeeet! That actually explains a lot. Autistic kids often thrive when they have clear rules and expectations and deteriorate when they get to much freedom.

It's so sad to know that phil and cwc didn't get a decent chance because of their ignorant parents.

The only questions I have regard your dick and I don't think it's very polite of me to ask them. :c

I'd hit it TBH. You're a good looking dude. And thanks for doing this AMA. Phil's kind of fascinating to me with the way he's so aggressively addicted to negative attention; hearing your first hand accounts of what he was like before that really developed is awesome.
