Uh... how does one say "Why not both?" in Japanese?Given that it's Ubisoft this could be a lack of knowledge thing or a weird gender ideology thing.

Omg, you are right. They literally made this nigger look like George Floyd.
For all of its issues, Dragon Age Inquisition did a really good job in making all of the party members able to be romanced but also they have preferences. And those preferences make sense.Personally, I've grown to be annoyed with video game romance options in general, especially with the whole "playersexual" element. I've been finding it to be a detriment to making good narrative characters, whether player-character or NPC, when their romantic side is made so strangely indeterminate.
They probably didn't know or care (their consultant is a fujoshi) and they outsourced that part to their asian/chinese studios.Yeah, they fucked up seating positions and architecture (it's more Chinese-style than Japanese) so I wouldn't be surprised if that's a fuck up by them. Crazy how AnalCreed went from autistically and painstakinly recreating historical buildings to this.
Imagine hiring a historical consultant who doesn't know jack shit about history...They probably didn't know or care (their consultant is a fujoshi) and they outsourced that part to their asian/chinese studios.
Since Ubishit went full DEI, they probably hired her just because she is asian.Imagine hiring a historical consultant who doesn't know jack shit about history...
Reminds me of when Sony caught shit for bringing on that flautist for the Ghost of Tsushima presentation because he was a white guy playing a Japanese flute when in reality there's only like five guys alive who are considered masters of it and he was one of them.Since Ubishit went full DEI, they probably hired her just because she is asian.
And of course that was a bullshit play for power, because where are those people now that pre-diabetic white women are about to shit all over Japanese history and culture?Reminds me of when Sony caught shit for bringing on that flautist for the Ghost of Tsushima presentation because he was a white guy playing a Japanese flute when in reality there's only like five guys alive who are considered masters of it and he was one of them.
Schlicking it to Yauske. A white guy spending decades of his life to master an instrument with devotion worthy of a samurai is cultural appropriation, but a black dude who did sweet fuck-all being declared a badass assassin ninja samurai is stunning, diverse, and brave. And of course that was a bullshit play for power, because where are those people now that pre-diabetic white women are about to shit all over Japanese history and culture?
It is ideology thing. They know damn well what they were doing. What leftists do is to bend over male/female terms into just one word in order to achieve a gender neutral language, it's something they teach at working spaces and academia now in order to get everyone to comply to it.I just realized too that they're calling brickface a Shinobi which is a male ninja, a female ninja is called a Kunoichi.

Fucking gooks are raised from a young age to hate Japan. Can’t take any Japan-related commentary from them seriously. The truth is that they hate themselves because they were always insignificant compared to Japan and China.

I had the same realization earlier this week and looked up further information to understand the rationale. According to Wikipedia (while understanding the faultiness of Wikipedia, of course), there's doubt about the historical use of "kunoichi" because there's no record of there ever being female ninja to apply it to, and it may be the case the term only came into the popular lexicon in the 20th century because of entertainment media. If this is really the case, then I grant Ubisoft a pass in using "shinobi" as a historically-accurate gender-neutral term. A woman can be shinobi, but a man cannot be kunoichi.I just realized too that they're calling brickface a Shinobi which is a male ninja, a female ninja is called a Kunoichi.

It was never about justice or representation. It was powerplay. They do not want to help the marginalised, they want to appear like they do. In Social Justice, appearences matter more than substance or results. They do not want discrimination to end. Afterall, the moment it does, all those anti-discrimination charities and organizations will lose business as their monster died and their purpose was fulfilled. It is far more profitable to just keep everyone fighting each other and make cash by asking for donations when the blood is boiling. Do not fall for their siren 's call.Schlicking it to Yauske. Welcome to Current Year.
Japan really does more justice for Yasuke than US. His recent arc in the battle manga Tenkaichi that makes him a pretty cool & somewhat nuanced character too.
I am, & they just know how to do it right, they're good with aesthetic stuff. For example, this is also Yasuke:I'm not into negresses but when Japan draws one, they are almost always attractive. Why can't Americucks, who want to promote race-mixing, draw darker skin women (or any race for that matter) that aren't fat Lizzo types?
It a war against beauty itself.I'm not into negresses but when Japan draws one, they are almost always attractive. Why can't Americucks, who want to promote race-mixing, draw darker skin women (or any race for that matter) that aren't fat Lizzo types?
Lana from Archer is legitimately the only attractive black women I can even name in a Western media property.I'm not into negresses but when Japan draws one, they are almost always attractive.
