Tell me more about Hollywood and Asians. I know they emasculate and turn Asian male actors gay/asexual similar to the conspiracy theory of them making black men wear dresses. For Asian female actresses, my Asian friends tell me there is a clear difference between Hollywood Asian beauty standards and Asian beauty standards. eg. Hollywood Asians are slanty eyed gooks that Asian men think are average at best (Lucy Liu, fat Asian Tico from Star Wars, that ghetto Aquafina rapper).

They literally give them Caucazoid bone structures, baby blue eyes (something abyss kin don't get), and most importantly - no heads made of nasty pubic hair. Modern Pokemon games contain the most blatant examples of this practice, making their blacks "more palatable" simply by making them Whites in everything but their poop-colored skin. It isn't/hasn't been subtle.

Anime Africans are the best kind simply because they get divorced from the literal baboon shape of nigger facial and bone structure. White people are the peak of beauty, with Asians coming into second. Niggers are so ugly they are dead last even amongst their own kind.

It also helps that anime Africans don't act like chimps/have ghetto personalities. That I can remember anyway. I'm trying to think of an anime Black woman that fits the "loud foul-mouthed uppity sheboon" stereotype.

For a real world example, compare Naomi Osaka (Half-Black/Half-Jap tennis player) with the Williams sisters.

The UI is a fucking abomination as always. My favorite was during the "target killed" overlay, the target's name is white on off-white background so you can't even see it. Random hip-hop mixed with Japanese music during fight scenes with janky animations that would make NetherRealm Studios laugh. It would be really funny if this only plays during Yasuke's parts.

Then you get to the Naoe section and it's just as sad. She's leaping like 15ft from a standing position after wrapping her chain around a guy. Then she kills a guy in a room and sneaks past a guard entering the room by hanging from the ceiling but said guard never sounds the alarm from the dead body. Even the cinematic camera showing the guy enter and close the door behind him is some super janky twitching in his animation. She kills her target and then starts swinging the chain and chopping the bamboo but the cut parts just casually phase out.

The whole "work in progress" in the corner better mean this is from a year old demo of this game because the game is coming out in 5 months.

Animations in their recent games have universally been shit. None of the smooth, seamless murder that was started in AC2 and extended all the way up to and including oh, Unity, I think. In Valhalla beating one of those Banneret fuckfaces to death with his own sword via blunt force trauma to the head was great the first time, annoying by the fifth, and just tiring by the fifteenth since it was the exact same kill anim every single fucking time, and it was just long and unnecessarily drawn out.

I fucking loved Naoe. Her segment is everything I want from ac. Her voice work is not great but I have a feeling it's intentional. Being a native Japanese woman speaking English of course it will come off as not exactly what we are used to. I also like her outfit. It is very practical. The underwater stealth reminded me of Tenchu.

Yasuke's segment is less fun. I do like the reactions like the little boy pointing. 'Mama its a nigger!' and the people bowing. I'm glad he is seen as the weird gaijin that he is. Though i imagine Nobunaga will be excited.
 
Let's ignore Yasuke for a minute, let's ignore the actual history and say yeah fuck it, he WAS a Samurai, he WAS celebrated and respected and he WAS on equal footing with people in Japan, just like everything Ubisoft and everyone else claims.

I swear it's not just this game but nearly every game that has a Black person in it, has Hip-hop in it.
There are more Genres out there that Black people made BEYOND Rap and Hip-Hop jesus christ. You better believe if L.A Noire was made today, not only would it have a Black Protagonist but the music wouldn't be Jazz/Blues, it'd be Hiphop. The fucking irony.

It's erasing the actual history of Japan and it's culture, and replacing it with African American Culture.
Not every black person has the same culture, not every black person likes the same shit, not every black person has the same tastes
Yet somehow, for some reason, every time there's a black person in Media, it's always African American Culture.
I'm not even Black yet I'm offended to hell and back.

You don't understand, a bunch of middle aged white men couldn't understand Japanese culture so they replaced it with a culture they clearly understand better than anything else. They couldn't give such an authentic experience otherwise.

I swear they actually said they didn't go with the original Japanese protagonist idea because they weren't able to perceive an Asian viewpoint, but I'm having a hard time finding the interview. Almost like the algorithm is afraid.

Yeah, gameplay looks boring, as expected of the usual ubislop. Dogshit UI too.
They also got the seasons wrong. The rice field looks ready to be harvested, yet there's sakura blooming? Sakura blooming period is around April/May and rice harvest season is not until October. What the fuck are these designer at Ubisoft doing?

I've seen people claim that they re-used the animations from For Honor.
