Scrolling through xitter and it's full of "gaming journalists" and full on niggers gloating about the game getting high ratings and the racists being wrong etc... the sheer cope over this piece of shit game is almost impressive. Imagine thinking a game getting a high rating in 2025 means anything.

Mortisimal and Worth A Buy both gave it a do not buy/negative review.

No Skillup yet but he gave both Valhalla and Mirage negative reviews so I expect it to be negative as well.

Not looking too hot for Ubisoft.

Looking at the combat segment in Mortisimal's review: Jesus fucking Christ who the hell claimed in the original leak that it was basically Tsushima but better? The game clearly has less depth than even Valhalla when it comes to melee, let alone Tsushima, and seeing Yasuke just stomp through everything is ridiculous.

A couple reviews say that not only does Kang have an enormous health bar but he actually regens health when performing executions so it's virtually impossible to die when playing as Kang Samurai.

Instead of playing Asscreed shadows, here are my suggestion if you want your samurai fix:
Ghost of Tsuhima (kamakura peroid).
Rise of the Ronin (final years of the edo period).
Nioh 1 (final years of the Sengoku Jidai period).

And also Mount and Blade Warband mod (Gekokujo - It takes place in the middle of Sengoku Jidai era)

Lady Oichi is Oda Nobanaga's sister by the way and a women heavily coveted by Hidyoshi. Yes Ubisoft made Yasuke sleep with one of the most prominent and important nobelwomen of that time period.

Concerning things I've noticed 10 minutes in

• The difficulty is a joke Super Easy, Very Easy, Normal, Normal+
• Microtransactions are everywhere, and effect gameplay.
• Performance is bad, but may improve with drivers

Notable things

• Yasuke is only introduced late in the story.
• Enemies scale with your level, skill system is complex.
• Time passes, and seasons change.
• Some missions can only be played by one character.
• If you mess up, then guards will kill on site for a season, forcing you to swap characters.
