A couple of months ago, known faggot John Trent claimed to have a leaker who said Ubisoft wished that Valve would do away with playercounts being publicly viewable. It was posted here:

As much as I favor valve in conflicts like those, they'd never ban ubishit for forging numbers - still too big of a player. They could ban chinks because they come dime a dozen. Ubishit would have to abuse refund system by denying refunds or directly threaten valve's bottom line to get removed.
