Ubisoft Sellout - Bankruptcy Speedrun Any% Thread

Outlaws is 50% off
Glad you brought it up because I've noticed something interesting.

The spike doesn't correspond with the sale, nor does it correspond with an update. Even the weekend warrior boosted numbers are magnified.
Ah, but what have we here?

Why is every Ubislop game getting this random bump at the beginning of March?

They bought bots or forced their employees to play the game to boost up the numbers like Soyny did with Concord. I don't know which is sadder.

It's gotta be bots then because they're doing it to their entire catalog. This comes on the heels of them seething a couple of months ago about wanting Valve to do away with playercounts.

Outlaws has been on sale for 50% off for the duration of that spike.

Along with AC Mirage https://steamdb.info/app/3035570/ and Farcry 6 https://steamdb.info/app/2369390/ (not going to bother posting the pics for everything but you get the point). The steam playercounts correspond with Ubisoft putting their game on sale.

There was a big Ubisoft Steam sale around the beginning of March. I remember this because it kept popping up in my Steam launcher. Look at the price history for Star Wars Outlaws. They marked it down 50% off on February 27th and never raised the price back up. The game probably did gain a few new actual players who were waiting for a steep discount.

Price history:

EDIT: The Ubisoft Publisher sale is still going on, which is why they didn't raise the price back to normal.

Steam has a sale right now and some Ubisoft games are charged down to some ridiculous prices. They are SCARED LMFAO
Outlaws is 50% off, Breakpoint is 90% off, they really need that money!

The Crew Motorfest is also 70% off right now, but given the panic state that Ubisoft is in right now, will TCM, or Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, both being always-online open-world racing games, die out first?

I liked her old weapon (a Kendama) better than the hula hoop blades because it feels a bit too similar to Sun Shangxiang's Wheels:

That's fair. I just like Orochi 3 so much I am used to those weapons. You're right though Koei has made some terrible choices on weapon changes over the years. The worst one for me was always Gan Ning losing his pirate sword and Zhurongs boomerang.

If Ubisoft actually dies it will be the largest en masse consumer rejection of goyslop in gaming history and im praying for it to happen.
My current prediction based on reviews I've watched is it's going to do okay numbers but nowhere near what Ubisoft needs to call it a success.

Nothing I've seen so far appears to be outright broken the way past Ubisoft releases have been. It looks like aggressively average open-world slop and for a depressing number of people that's apparently enough.

Does anyone know a way around the shitty ubisoft launcher to play Anno? It's retarded that it needs a constant online connection. I'm assuming and hoping the game is cracked so I can pirate it if that's the solution?
