Ouch eurozone looks like a bad trend. If this thing doesnt put up big numbers on the weekend i think its a ~gamepass hit~ with an unverifiable frankennumber.

To be fair, if you willingly entered Ubisoft's plantation, let alone gave them money on their own platform, do you even deserve to be treated like a human being? Not to defend them, but outside of the US the steam release is something like six hours delayed from the "buy direct from our shitty service" release on PC, a disproportionate amount of day one buyers won't show up on steam charts.
But it just released a matter of hours ago, didn't it? And what's considered decent for AAA?View attachment 7114957

Considering its doing worse than a Paradox autism simulator despite having an infinitely greater budget I'd say its definitely a big bomb.
I'll have you know Ubisoft deals in AAAA, mister !And what's considered decent for AAA?
The fun thing is, Ubisoft is in such dire straits that even a small to mid sized bomb could still be enough to fuck them over. They were banking heavily on games like Skull and Bones/Outlaws/Avatar/xDefiant, and all bombed to one degree or another. Hell even Mirage, which did okay, apparently only made $250mil, which sounds like a lot, but isn't given development costs and Ubi's financial status.I hope Shadows bombs hard as fuck, but something tells me it won't.

upcoming games:
Even their upcoming games are fucking cope.Beyond Good and Evil 2
I'd say they're going to power through with AC:Jade at the very least, it's probably already in the pipeline and will see a heavy toning down in SJW messaging as well as lower budget in reaction to Shadows performance. Assuming it sells at least kind of well, Ubi will live on. Ubisoft is almost as much a system as it is a company, one that can be repurposed if proven still useful. I hope this doesn't happen. The fun thing is, Ubisoft is in such dire straits that even a small to mid sized bomb could still be enough to fuck them over. The other problem is Shadows is basically their last big game for a while, look at their list of upcoming games:

If Shadows doesn't make them big money they're fucked because they need it, and nothing else on that list is likely to, except maybe The Division 3 (1 and 2 had amazing sales all things considered), however that's basically only just entered production so is likely 3-4 years out at best, and there's no telling how much damage Div 2's seasonal content shitshow, and Massive absolutely shitting the bed with Outlaws, might have damaged the brand.
Hexe will probably come out next year. But thats a long wait. So many employees but so few notable upcoming releases. The fun thing is, Ubisoft is in such dire straits that even a small to mid sized bomb could still be enough to fuck them over. Division makes me a bit mad, it's like they didn't even realized they had something good with the first game's add-on Survival game mode. In total Ubisoft fashion, it was completetely ignored going forward. The Division 3 (1 and 2 had amazing sales all things considered),

That's because despite having huge initial engagement, the playerbase for Survival dropped off like a rock.Division makes me a bit mad, it's like they didn't even realized they had something good with the first game's add-on Survival game mode. They should have kept working and refining their Survival formula once they saw the success of PUBG. Ubi would have had a game within an established IP ready to go that fit the Battle Royale craze at its peak. That's because despite having huge initial engagement, the playerbase for Survival dropped off like a rock.
