@Ruin is a part of a small, select group of users who are called upon to help make decisions around the forum, so if you are looking to be on staff then you should probably give her more respect.
There is a small group of about 15 users that are relied upon to make decisions on KF regarding new forums, who to select for staff, guideline changes, etc. Staff is not responsible for these decisions because of the obvious conflict of interest, so these people act as a balance against staff decisions. They also have a smaller group that makes decisions on overturning staff decisions and the censure of staff for misdeeds.
@Ruin actually holds a high position and is a leading representative for both transgender and furry users. She is possibly the singlemost influential person on this staff because of her responsibilities, so I would suggest you give her respect because you never know when you might need a powerful friend around here.
