I remember reading recently that the entire industry has been suffering from this due to china reopening, ironically enough. A significant number of studios apparently outsource their animation to China, and China is reportedly bogged down due to its medical industry being unable to handle even the most recent strain of Covid. Given the sheer amount and scale of animation involved in something like Attack on Titan it makes sense that Mappa would get hit harder than most studios by these logistical issues.

Off topic but can I just say how much I despise Fortnite? It's like the Mr. Beast of games. Targeting children, indiscriminate collaboration for no other reason than chasing popularity (like seriously what the fuck are anime and comic characters doing in a game like Fortnite?), Incessant ads that are near impossible to avoid, all punctuated by extremely mediocre content.
On topic, it's surreal what an ongoing shitshow this series is. Can't even finish the anime because of what a clusterfuck the Author shittily drew. Holy shit.

Not yet actually. It's retarded but you have to wait a month before you can unlock him and his special spider man weapon for limited time use.
I like Fortnite, but it's very uneven in quality. Just when I start to like it they change it so dam much it becomes unrecognizable. It's good for the crossovers and seasonal events. But I wouldn't recommend making it your main multiplayer game.
