so how many "final" seasons has this had already?
o, I don't think they'll actually ask him questions about genocide because they're pussies, and maybe also because of what's happening in Israel right now, but I doubt it, but god, I hope they do. (archive) (archive)

What the fuck? Are we sure the japs don't have April Fool's day in October? 🌈🌈🌈

Yes, this is real. Yes, the timing is absolutely perfect/terrible. Yes, I did lose even more braincells upon hearing about this, and checking it to see if it was true.

Is it AI or something, I wonder? Or the voice actor himself? Weird but interesting. I hope they ask him why he simped so hard for Ymir.

The article states that it's not with his VA, but the character himself. It does not say whether, or not that means it's going to be an AI, and that itself seems to be entirely unknown right now.

If I had to speculate, I would say it's going to be a prewritten script performed by his VA, or a deepfake of his VA instead of an actual interview with an AI because that way it wouldn't have the chance of going off rails like interviewing an AI would.

Lastly, even the article points out the genocide thing, so make of that what you will. Maybe they will actually ask him, and if they do, they better not be using an AI because that definitely will not go well.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Last time I heard news about this, was when it got revealed Eren was some bird cuck and /a/ had a collective meltdown. Also, didn't the author made that ending because he hated his viewers and then randomly decided to invest in a spa or something.
What the fuck is even going on?

This is great. Just when you thought the series was ending at the final season part 2 part 2, they somehow manage to pull the rug out again, only this time it's with another series. Maybe Isayama is actually just a genius troll. Maybe he'll somehow manage to make it even worse.

No matter how badly it went off the rails, Season 3 Part 2 and the entire Return to Shiganshina arc is some of the most compelling, gut wrenching television I have ever seen. I rewatched it over the weekend again and 'Perfect Game', 'Hero' and 'Midnight Sun' are absolute masterpieces.
I’d also say Return to Shiganshima is a decent enough arc to end on. Or just drop out of the series if it isn’t your thing.

I wonder who that new chapter will be about, hopefully Misaka's descendant from the last chapter, but probably not.

Man, AoT was in the running for my favorite anime of the 2010's until the Cringevenger traitors bit, but it was still a fun watch. Then there was the convoluted twists and it became the biggest disappointment in all of anime imo (well, manga so far, but I'm pretty sure they'll keep the gay twists).

Double-posting, but cover for volume 35 has been released, and it shows the characters at least trying to fix the environment, so it looks like they're finally going to be addressing that. AOEfags BTFO yet again.

I remembered playing an old fangame right around when Season 1 came out and it was pretty fun.

Also apparently the new chapter that Isayama is making for the manga is going to be another Levi backstory chapter, which given Levi is among the top 3 most popular characters in the series, it makes sense from a financial standpoint.

I was hoping for some sort of continuation. Something with the potential to be so stupid it wrapped around to being legitimately entertaining. Guess I got my hopes up for nothing.
