No, I don't hate it either.

I used to until it ended, and I realized that the last arc was just one giant shitpost. Now outside of laughing at how thing ended and looking back at few cool moments from the earlier parts, I don't care about it anymore.

Once all the drama blows over from the final season, (and movie if it happens, and AoT no Requiem if it does indeed collapse in upon itself) I'm done with this series.

I wouldn't say I hate it. It's like a relationship that grew increasingly toxic until you broke it off after a shit storm. There are good times to remember, but ultimately the whole experience is rotten and ruined by how it ended. I read this series since it was scribbles. It's sad, unfortunate and hilarious that it turned out the way it did. I'd wager most don't hate it, but just acknowledge it went to shit in an over the top and undeniable way.

This really hits home. I mean, I dropped AoT way earlier than most, but I think your post about sums up the state of a lot of older media and its fanbases these days.

I'm expecting they'll be sort of happy, but also extremely confused, and put-off by Eren's tantrum, and then when the kiss happens, most of them are just gonna be like "Well, we wanted a kiss, but not like that. What the fuck? Is this a joke?"

Really, I'm more interested in seeing if the eight pages get animated because Jeankasa's sudden surprise victory is still one of the funniest things in the series.

Something I just realized is that the ending has completely overshadowed all the other stupid shit that happens in this arc.

The pigs, the blood tests that can tell what race you are, Annie looking like she OD'd , and then scarfing down pie, Levi just completely forgetting/not caring that she's the one that killed his squad, and implied-to-be fiancée, Hange ragequiting life, Cripple Heaven, the SC sitting on their asses making stew, and brushing Connie's mom's teeth while Eren destroys the world, the swimming colossal titans, Reiner taking a nap during the apocalypse, the Gabi no-scope, the Floch shenanigans, Pixis continuing to drink even though it's literally going to turn him into a titan, Zeke trying to convince Eren to let their race go extinct because their dad was a bad person, Eren's memetic PATHs face, etc.

My point is that even if they change the ending, there's still enough retarded bullshit for us to all enjoy.

I remember when all this was happening, there was an anon in /a/, high on copium saying that the only reason the manga was focusing so much on the cringevengers was so "it would hurt when Eren kills them all" and that if you genuinly thought that Eren would lose to them, then "Isayama's storytelling is too complicated for you, and you should probably go watch the avengers or something more suitable for your IQ". The look on that anon's face when the cringevengers did win must have been hilarious.

I don't hate AOT, but I got bored of it a while ago, and it became progressively worse the longer it went on. The first couple of arcs were promising and genuinely engaging, but then the writing took a massive nosedive. The final arc was a frustrating chore to get through and the ending was just so amazingly, hilariously bad. It 100% deserves all the mockery and shitposts it's been getting.

Wonder how Eremika shippers will see his last declaration. And kissing a severed head farewell.

Most will probably be glad that their ship is canon regardless of the circumstances, while others will no doubt be upset that it ends tragically. Expect a mix of "HOLY SHIT WE'RE CANON" and "What the fuck Isayama."

First episode of Season 4 Part 2 came out. The opening is completely cringeworthy just listen for yourselves

I did like the Ending song they chose in a music sense, though based on the ending visuals I can really see them adapting the extra 8 pages

As for the episode itself it was honestly hilarious, knowing where the manga goes I felt more inclined to side with Marley and the over the top shit that went on in the episode was hilarious especially with how gratuitous the violence is like how many of the in-universe Eren fanboys were mowed down and how Eren pretty much was autistically screeching for Zeke's help because his ass was kicked after smugly acting like he won. It's also really funny how in the opening scene of the episode, Zeke was pretty much showing people his dick casually and walking around naked like it was normal.

However, the stuff with John Boyega and the prisoners feel like a slog just to remind the audience that Eren probably has their best interest in mind (knowing the manga that is a lie in every conceivable way) and was dumb.

Yeah the ending song was actually good in the visual sense and musically as well. It's probably the best sincere part of the overall season.

Though people hating on it being Erenfags because "REEE MIKASA" makes it funnier since it shows how shit their taste is.
