If this is true he went full Code Geass. Imagine my shock, Isayama blatantly ripping off another manga's ending.

Also whatever, I'm not a fan of the ending but I'm not going to claim that I "wasted" my time following this show. That's super dramatic and not really accurate. This show still is awesome even if the fourth season got fucking weird as fuck. The Season 1 and 2 highs are really, really high (the Reiner + Bertholdt reveal is probably one of my favorite moments in a show's history, not just limited to anime). I have so many good memories of looking up theories and rewaching clips on Youtube.

Even with a lackluster ending (which will undoubtedly be changed for the animu) Attack on Titan is the only anime show that managed to hook a grown CJ back into watching japanese shit again. It's given me years of good shit, thank you Isayama

So apparently the leaks MIGHT be fake: here (scroll to the english proportion if you don't see it first)

If the leaks turn out to be not fake I will be confused, Levi needing to be in a wheelchair and being taken care of by Gabi and Falco for some reason instead of his only blood relative makes no sense, Mikasa would be the most obvious choice to help Levi out since she was part of his squad for years and he actually knows her, her blood relation to him, and she would have time to help him.

Levi being taken care of by two kids that have parents of their own that he barely met over someone in his own squad sounds ridiculous. Maybe they want Mikasa to be alone for the last scene and don't care about the extra details? It is suspicious enough for me to think that these could be fake leaks, but Hajime is also retarded enough to write this weirdly so I'm not sure.

At the risk of jinxing it, I'm just gonna say this: This does not strike me as hurtful enough to be real. Unless Isayama's plan to hurt his readers was to make the most generic, mundane, disappointing ending ever (and it very well might be at this point), this does not fit his MO.

Until we get actual proof, I don't think the leaks are true.

Yeah the leaks are definitely fake especially with several characters not mentioned and some leaks trying desperately to hook Eren and Historia up. It doesn’t help all the reliable leakers are being threatened with lawsuits if they leak anything.

The threats are pretty baseless to be honest and have not teeth really. Their capability to act outside the reach of Japanese law is limited and chasing after every leaker on the internet is impossible. And when the chapter leaks early, like the last one did, it will be put up on sites like Nyaa which will just outright ignore any DMCA request.

If these are indeed fake I’ll be pleasantly surprised. That said, I was convinced the leaks for the last chapter were fake too, so either way I’m not expecting much.

It's hilariously similar to the last season of game of thrones, nobody believed the leaks at first because they were so absurdly bad.

Like others have said, I would not be surprised if the leaks are fake.

Cause of just how bad and non hurtful/generic the ending is.

But, I said the same thing about the previous chapter leaks as well..... And every episode leak of GOT season 8.

So, yeah.... Either way. We will see how this clusterfuck Isayama created ends soon.
