For past few months PVS was running a harassment campaign on behalf of vickers, now it turns out that moderation was lenient toward his spergery because they expected some favors from him, that can raise some eyebrows.

When something becomes personal, it leaves the realm of the site's rules. Most people didn't take issue with Portugal II, because Ralph had done life ruination shit with Cog before. It was a personal matter between Ralph and Cog. When someone is trying to frame Altistic for a series of attempted murders, something that could land him in prison for the rest of his life, the matter leaves the site's jurisdiction in the same way. He is within his rights to act in self-preservation and do whatever he believes necessary to find the sektur swatter.

Are you referring to Ralph? I can think of a bunch of reasons. Just based on the swatter's choice of targets and the timing of what he does, it's clear he's either one of Nick's catboys or in some other way tied to cozy and Ralph.
When the piggyleaks happened and Ralph went hyper rage mode, everyone he (ralph specifically) was angry at, got swatted all in one day. The MO of those swattings was the same as that of the sektur swatter so it stands to reason it was the same person carrying them out. This gives reason to believe that Ralph is in direct contact with the swatter and knows who he is. That's the one thing that explains it: Ralph goes rage mode, calls or messages the swatter and screams at him begging him to swat a bunch of people, and there you go.
So if you put Ralph specifically under enough pressure, you might trip him up and get him to give away who the swatter is in some way. Either indirectly through some kind of slip-up, or simply by virtue of Ralph going bridge-burn mode and doxing the swatter himself.

Alt keeps a good relation with Vickers behind the scenes and in return, when Vickers is about to do something buttfucking retarded that will destroy his DVRO case like the retard he is, Alt might have a chance to reel in his spergery before it's too late.

Either way, if you have to handwring about deep mod conspiracies because one mod knew that a Kiwifarms user was posting in Daimyo's chat or some shit, are you really concerned about a deep and serious problem, or are you looking for something to be 'concerned' about? Because if you have to dig this deep, it seems to me like the latter.

Put what you are complaining about into perspective. We're not talking about someone coordinating flagging campaigns or calling for people brigade someone's employer. A mod knew that one account was another user's sock, that user posted in some non-celeb's chat or messaged some non-celeb, nothing they did amounted to anything and here you are trying to turn this into fucking watergate.

This here is true and straight: a mod took money from a user to post some shit and then coincidentally ignored that users shenanigans. The same mod also said that he was in contact with the said user in hopes of extracting more favors for himself.

There is less difference between then and now than you think. It wasn't all fake and gay. Why do you think the raid happened in the first place? The simp texts from Dick were 100% real. The problem was that the PPP/Godwinson people wanted those texts to be this one-and-done killshot that would completely destroy any clout Dick and anyone associated with him (including Josh) had, and it simply wasn't. It was something people laughed at for a few days and ultimately no-one cared. And they were trying to do that exact same 'muh financial ties' thing, where they would point at how Josh was getting donations through NP2, which was run by Dick and they construed this into Josh being in Dick's pocket and running defense for Dick.
