I mean that's the fun thing with lolcows isn't it? The entertainment isn't even necessary from the weird behaviors, but from the total lack of self-awareness when doing them.I'd argue that's half of the appeal.
Personally I'm always secretly waiting to be surprised, and have Tom or Chris be jolted awake by some post or event and realize how much of their issues are of their own making. A true redemption story. Intellectually I know that that's an impossibility, that if these people were capable of such an epiphany they wouldn't have achieved the online profiles they did. But imagine how magical it would be if Tom finally displayed some sort of pattern recognition or learning in terms of oversharing. It would be like if a Greek tragedy suddenly had a happy ending one time out of a million retellings.
