Marvin said something recently about a "friend" being dropped and quickly readded to Facebook. Maybe there's some drama surrounding this that Chris is referring to.

Ultimately there's no point in speculating about this post; there are too many unknowns. "Shot myself in the foot" is one of Chris's least favorite shibboleths. He uses it whenever he has made a humiliating mistake. This post gives us another glimpse of the real Chris, who, behind the façade of his ego, is mired in depression. In his heart, Chris knows that he is stupid and weak. He lives in denial as much as he can, but sometimes reality intervenes.

i'm guessing by "metaphorically" he means he pretended to shoot himself in the foot with the megatron pistol. in which case, it would be 'literally".

Sometimes Chris does learn from his mistakes, but he always forgets the aesop. It's like he's living in a cartoon world where status quo must be re-enforced after every episode. He fucks up, he realises he made a mistake, but ultimately he uses his mad cognitive dissonance skillz to absolve himself of blame ('at least I tried' is his favourite, I think, closely followed by 'God and Jesus have forgiven me') and thus has no reason to modify his behaviour.

Brother, if Chris learned him his mistakes, the first things he would do is to start eating healthier, shower, cut his hair, train, and get a job. But we all know the likelihood of those happening.

I think he's upset about how he burned so many bridges with people on the forum by being rude. We're the closest things to friends that he's ever going to have, and deep down, he knows it.

"Losing friends"

Silly Chris, you didn't have any friends to lose in the first place.

He has us. But he refuses to accept us. Oh, and we really aren't his friends.

I'm guessing he's talking about high school-related friend requests going unanswered?

seems about the proper reaction he'd have. considering no one comes up to him when he's sitting around like a vidya playing lump, the entire ruckersville area is snobs.

He's a bloody bludger.

Don't mind me. Just summing Chris's life up here.

He's shot himself in the foot a lot. He should probably get it removed before the gangrene sets in (and if that doesn't happen, the diabetes will).

His friends list went up pretty consistently for awhile. For awhile, his list only went up, it never went down. However, I think around when Chris removed our spy (and then readded our spy, for the second time :tomgirl: ) I think it went down by an extra person or two.

So, it's definitely a possibility someone actually removed Chris from their friends list.

The thing is Chris probably takes his Facebook friends list as his actual friends list. When somebody deletes him for the excellent reasons mentioned above, he "crashed into slumber".

Remember, this man(child) has the worldly experience of my two year old and less common sense.

I've noticed the "Custom Privacy" indicator. Is Chris trying to exclude people from getting his messages?

What caught my attention first thing was not what other people have already commented on, but his physical issues. High blood pressure, feeling dizzy and faint... that can actually be frightening. I suffer from depression and anxiety, and when I have a panic attack it imitates some symptoms of a heart attack, which only serve to make me feel MORE anxious.

Chris' complaints about his physical issues could mean any of a number of things. It could actually be anxiety, since he complains about stress so much, but unlike him, I have a decent diet and am in pretty good shape and my job keeps me on my feet for the entire shift (and actually moving around, lifting 30-40 pounds at a time sometimes) so if I get dizzy and anxious, it is most likely from an panic attack or at the very least, low blood sugar, not because my arteries are clogged up from Hungry Man and q-sands.

This actually made me concerned for Chris. Knowing how inactive he is, coupled with his diet, makes me think that he is already having heart issues. If one already has heart issues, then stress and anxiety can exacerbate these issues, and Chris brings a lot of stress onto himself, so that is definitely not helping his situation.

A small part of me hopes that this whole blood pressure/dizziness thing is what triggered his learning from my mistakes comment and he is realizing what his lifestyle is doing to him and that he needs to eat better. This is most likely not the case, but one can always hope. (I also wonder if he actually tested his blood pressure or not)

i think he is just being a drama tomgirl. he learned from barb that people will react to physical maladies. he's fishing again.

It's likely Kelli Andes turned down his amazing offer to divorce her JERK husband and abandon her children to live in 14 branchland court with her high school sweetheart and one true love, Christian Weston Chandler.

Learning from mistakes is certainly new. Is he reading what we're saying and considering no longer repeating the same insanities in his life and love quest? That was actually a somewhat coherent declaration of melancholy for CWC.
He doesn't learn from his mistakes. Like, at all. Someone (was it Null, I think?) recently pointed out how utterly ridiculous it is that to this very day, he still gets infuriated when people call him gay. He still does not get that people call him gay specifically because they know it pisses him off. It's been going on for six years, but he's still right where he started.

It is obvious from his profile that Chris isn't quite right. While it's true that adults do play with Legos, they actually build interesting and intricate structures. Chris plays with Legos much the same way a small child would. (As evidenced by his videos: the Sonichu and Rosechu playing house videos in particular.) Then there's all the My Little Pony Stuff.

Can you imagine what his new friends would think if they saw the posts where Chris urged his Facebook friends to kill Mimm's girlfriend, or to hunt down Megan Schroeder? These posts would be especially disturbing to the women.
Oh, absolutely. Anyone who accepted a friend request and then had time to sit and think about just what they were looking at... well, any normal person would probably want to distance themselves from him, because honestly do you want the risk of someone like Chris spontaneously bombarding you with lego requests and asking you to hunt down information on private individuals he has threatened?

I see two possibilities.

One is that he has learned from Barb, who no doubt spent her life complaining about false health concerns whenever anything she didn't like happened. She probably faked a panic attack any time Bob wanted to change the channel when she was watching TV.

The other possibility is that he has legitimate heart/blood issues. But as I pointed out above, he does not learn from his mistakes. I pretty much don't even care if he wants to die from some heart-related issue at a young age, because he has had it drummed into his head for years that eating McDonalds and Hungry Mans all the time coupled with absolutely no exercise is going to fuck his health up.

People point out sometimes that he is mentally a child, but honestly, children learn way better than he does. You show a child negative consequences to their behavior enough, they will begin to adapt, even if it's only to avoid the consequences rather than out of any morality.
