I thought the Fallout tv show made NV non canon?
Fallout TV show isn't canon. It will never be recognized by any fan of the franchise, aside from maybe Fallout 5(which also isn't canon). Whatever dogshit b*thesda or am*zon shovels out for the masses doesn't matter and never will, you think anything from Fallout 4 or 76 is considered canon by most fans either?
If anything from these games will be in NV2 or whatever Obsidian is making, it will be mandated, nothing more. I bet people will mod out those references less than a month after release, hell I will do it myself if nobody else will.

New Vegas 2, or whatever it is they are making, IS going to be Avowed 2, just reskinned. Anyone who is excited for that is a retard.
Anyone excited for anything coming out of Obsidian at this point is the dumbest nigger alive The one decent game they had was grounded 2 and it was heavily outsourced.
Just shutter it already get rid of these people.

Outer Worlds was also heavily outsourced, and I bet so was Outer Worlds 2 and Avowed. It's not even that their games are mediocre, it's that they can't even make these mediocre games without heavy involvement from third world studios anymore. I shudder to think how long credits of this game are going to be and how many Indian/Chinese names we will see.
No?

Even if you're a proponent of that retarded theory Todd Howard despises NV, there's no evidence the show has decanonised anything.
The show has blatant continuity errors that anybody who played the games can see, altho I guess that doesn't include you. New Vegas cannot exist in the same timeline as the TV show, therefore the TV show is not canon and this is pretty much universally excepted by everyone except for the biggest Bethesda fans and TV show tourists who never played the games. I guess that makes you one as well, unless you're just clueless and talking out of your ass as usual.

New Vegas 2 is a retarded idea anyways, are we going to be exploring the same fucking buildings we did in 1? are all the buildings still going to be dusty blown up pieces of shit that haven't been explored and cleaned out once again? despite having hundreds of years to shift through this shit?
It will Fallout TV Show: The Game, guarantee it. That's why nobody but tourists will play it, and then forget about it because these "people" aren't even gamers, let alone RPG fans. It will be Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel of this generation and I am all for it.

I think you know the answer. Do you imagine they'll be creative and forward thinking enough to try to show the inhabitants trying to build their own buildings using the (copious) building materials at their disposal? Do you imagine the mongoloids of Fallout will learn the arcane art of sweeping the floor?

Of course not, they are going to think "What does the average, unimaginative person imagine a post-apocalyptic setting to look like?" and go with that.

What the fuck are you talking about? Fallout 1, 2 and New Vegas are post-post apocalypse games, people live in normal houses, farm for food, have jobs and have clean streets(well, depending on the town anyways). It's only Bethesda's games like Fallout 3/4/76 as well as the TV show that are tinshack paradises and everyone is a hobo eating 200 year old canned food and cockroach meat. This isn't Fallout and never will be, hence the big disparity between the two fanbases that at this point can never be fixed.

Avowed and Outer Worlds are just Temu versions of Elder Scrolls and Fallout.

Whatever they may concoct and shit out as the next Fallout, I will be extremely skeptical of ever buying it as I doubt it will be even remotely as good as F3 and NV.

All in all, perhaps this is mildly better than nothing at all from BGS, or perhaps not, it remains to be seen how badly they rape the carcass of the Fallout IP with wokeslop writing.

The bright side is that if the combat is anything like Outer Worlds/Avowed, then at least that will be the only decent part of the game. It's fast, it's visceral, it requires some sort of skill rather than just pausing time and having the game aim for you, honestly it's what the games should have had a long time ago. Everything else might suffer but hey, most Fallout "fans" these days just play as a murder hobo anyways, so at least the murdering part will be good. Anything is when you compare it to the Oblivion jank of F3/NV tho and the only reason F4/76 are halfway passable was because ID helped out Bethesda with that.

Temu Elder Scrolls should be mad you called it Avowed.

Once again, who are you even talking to? I didn't say "Fallout has never depicted realistic dwellings" I was talking about how nu-Obsidian is obviously going to go with nu-Fallout aesthetics.

Holy shit, are you ever a retarded turbosperg. You really need that triangle back.

No it just obfuscates the faction choice. Ceasar still dies, House can technically live in any ending if we ignore the line about being exposed to germs, NCR and legion were both doomed to continue in endless conflict anyway. The answer the tv show gives is one where any ending can be canon.

The only line I've ever drawn was with ESO. Even skyrim, a game I hate I still consider canon because while its bad writing it still respects the previous entries.

As for 4/76, Bethesda has had the sense of mind to stay east coast so as not to damage anything of the originals/NV. So we can see them as coexisting canons. They both have the same lore rules without directly impacting each other's stories and that works just fine. Now of course the west coast stories are the preferred for most, but Bethesda's games do add value as well at times.

You're clearly a tourist, so I was just correcting you. No need to shit yourself and cry, green redditor.

I don't consider them canon because I have zero respect for them, period, and the Fallout fandom(tourists non withstanding) agree with me.
