The corvair was awful, but due to being so cutting edge and some how my aunt had one as a first car and still alive. I love the theory and its a cool car but it just wasn't ready with the tech now. Trust me if you modernize or think of a modern version of it it's a cool car. Has a big cult following for a reason. I'd say the turbo ones are even more dangerous being how bad lag was back then on those tiny little motors with how bad turbine tech was.

The fun part about the corvair is it had an air cooled engine, which led to kit aircraft usage.

Literally every single thing that came out of Detroit during the bailout era from like 2007-2010 was a complete dumpster fire.

Like, look at this shit.

It could be much worse, the Chevy Cavalier (which the Cobalt replaced) looked and felt cheap inside (look at those carpet seats), was dangerous in crashes, and worst of all is unreliable.
