Shit. I didn't believe this was real until I looked it up. WTF? Some guy just landed a role on "IT" part 3. I'm going to tag this on google -I want to see how this "face" disintegrates over the coming years.

Quite sad. Not merely because we lost the... er... face of a genre of memes, but just generally when close relatives die in quick succession.

I first saw them when I was a poor and nerdy teenager haunting used bookstores for SF books and then getting absolutely confused as to who these guys were on the covers of the French Doctor Who novels. Weird to think there was a time when they were the least alien-looking things on a sci-fi TV show novelization cover.

While I totally agree it's sad they both passed at basically the same time, I was under the impression that usually when people are that close, when one half passes away, the other person basically becomes a shell because they've never lived without the other.

If you were as close to your brother as these two appeared I doubt either one of them would have been okay without the other.
