On a different tangent of bad plastic surgery that is actually bad for your body, I present this:

For people who have never seen an xray before: you're not supposed to have random wires in your face sticking out. Her doctors asked what's up with that, and "the patient revealed she had undergone 'gold thread therapy' for facial 'rejuvenation'." (Check paper "Cosmetic “Gold Thread Therapy”: A Nuisance That Decreases the Diagnostic Quality of a Dental Panoramic Image" for more info, it's really interesting but tl;dr for this thread)

Gold thread therapy is something between a thread lift and some BS collagen production cream. The logic is that if they shove gold wire in your face then your body will detect it as foreign matter and build collagen around it and you'll look younger and skinnier. Now people are walking around with random gold hairs in their face.

I’m more horrified by the teeth (or lack of). Are you sure this isn’t a dental x-ray of a James Bond baddie? Tf has she done to her teeth?

Anyway thread tax and another mild example but Khloe Kardashian. Now I like none of the Kardashians. They are trash people through and through.

But my gud Khloe looks plastic as all hell. I feel a little bad for her because there's a bunch of clips from the shit TV show where everyone keeps dissing her looks and then hold Kim as the golden standard of beauty so now Khloe wants to be another Kim clone. khloe-kardashian-before-and-after.jpg

It reeks of an identity crisis and it's bit of a shame because she looked fine before she ruined everything. There was a natural charm to her.

Why is Kim considered the golden standard of beauty anyway? That bitch is fucking gross.

alright so i tracked the study down since you made me curious.

didn't give much details, only that "a 58-year-old woman presented for prosthodontic treatment. Her medical history revealed only previous breast and head and neck cancers.". and then began talking about the weird fucking hairs in her jaw.

my best educated guess is teeth decay and bone loss from being a menopausal woman that survived two cancers and had a ton of tooth decay from radiotherapy and other chemo treatments. the cancer or the therapy most probably fucked her salivary glands, which causes bacteria to go wild and rot your teeth. it's also published in a British journal so it's just the average britbong genetics on top of that.

also the crowns are only on top teeth and the front bottom, and based on the only other known fact that she had gold wires sewn into her, it wouldn't be too far fetched to say she probably had veneers on those teeth, teeth were ruined under them, and she removed the veneers and got crowns instead.

Kim back in the day is credited to ending the Paris Hilton/twiggy body standard of the 00s and making being curvy a thing mostly through there not being any others out there who could leverage the media and a sex tape like her mom could. And through that time turned herself into a blow up doll of the new standard she helped create. Her and her mom made sure to keep them in the news and, more importantly to the newer generations, in social media as influencers to solidify their place as a brand of beauty themselves pretty much.

To Khloe (and Kylie) I think it was a case of Kim being mommy's golden child and she wants to emulate the features mom seemingly favoured. Plus, I remember her being "the fat one" in media when she was someone who could actually say she was just bigger boned than her sisters. In looking for a photo to demonstrate I was reminded how much she was styled to hide her body even when it was seemingly curvy.

I thought the rumor was that Khloe is a half sister to Kim and whatshername the other non Jenner half sister. Khloe is a head taller than Kim and oh yeah Kourtney isn’t it? Kris did the horizontal tango with not Kardasian sr but no one seems to talk about it much. That would explain the desperate Kim kloning from Khloe.

Yeah and she had a scan to prove there was no implants in there, when what she’d had was fat transfers and as a natural normal material, that wouldn’t be visible.

I recall some clips of that too. Basically people saying she "needed to lose weight" even though she looks fine.

His mom's too apparently but the girl's revelations were covered on the show and they had to smile and laugh along and say that they supported it all. Iirc I saw a post on the other farms of Kendall making a post calling him Bruce and shitting on him but I don't remember and I can't find anything like it now
