A small followup.
Tatsuya Ishida (sinfest.xyz) is doing a story-line called "Mount Olympus". This is about how Jews ruined art and culture because they couldn't create anything themselves.

The sad thing, we'll never know what happened. From the dudebro era to the "cute comic with cute developments" to the schizo feminist takeover to the schizo TERF phase to the schizo esoteric nazism phase. I want to know who and how they hurt him. Whatever his original comic or themes were they are gone (I think Sinfest's original cast has been missing for years or months).
A man does not go so far in whatever psychotic systems of beliefs for no reason. It's a shame we'll never know what crushed him so deeply.

My theory is that Ishida is a typical pin dicked asian incel that got his first taste of pussy which turned him into a raging feminist. Unfortunately the girl to finally take his v-card was jewish and they eventually broke up, thus beginning the latest schizo era of Sinfest.

What audience? The man was at his height during the dudebro/"cute" era of his comic. His Feminazi turn essentially nuked his chances at keeping that in decent numbers, and his TERF turn nuked the last few remnants of his fanbase. What's his audience now? A good number of his views must be from people following him as a pseudo-lolcow. His da jooos comics aren't even funny, they're simply confused and sad.
Reading his pre-feminist works, he always felt like... a "romcom" type of guy. Making his fictional characters live the life he wasn't getting (of course Slick was a pervert loser but he was for sure going to get the girl!). The fact that he was mentally unprepared to keep some BPD feminist under control would not surprise me. His slow descent into misery makes me think he could not rationalize his failures anymore and went to the usual da joos ruined my life schizo themes.
Imagine involuntarily writing the saddest ending possible to your romcom, where the protagonist is a disposable loser, an extra in his own story and the last remnant of his love is an AI-built simulation, when the real girl went off the deep end almost a decade prior.
It's almost Russian in its misery.

It was a good joke on the "Dark & edgy" games that were coming out too.
Sinfest started out billing itself as "Adult Calvin and Hobbes". And Slick was very clearly calvin inspired in the pre-insanity run, and it was... alright. It was pretty generic edgy jokes with some 2-D T&A.
Its pretty clear, as you said, he got his first taste of (presumably white; I've never seen Asian dudes cuck as hard for sideways vagina as they do for Euro Roastie Au Jus. Dog eater poontang < Dog Fucker poontang) pussy and she pussywhipped him, hard into a male feminist. Which morphed into his TERF pivot and now he's after Das Juden.
His anti-porn stance is pretty great after all the pimpin' and ho'ing he did at the start.

I don't consider Sinfest to be a bad webcomic. I find Ishida to be kind of fascinating. I found his early comics about as edgy as your average newspaper comic strip but now he's transformed into the Jack Chick of TERFs.

Following up on this. I don't know what it is about Ishida but his comics have looped around to so deranged they're good. Like a much more coherent Ben Garrison.
I got curious about how much money he still made off of sinfest. I dont know how to find actual numbers for substack or locals but i have made a guess.
From Graphteon, his patreon peaked at almost 1600$ around 2018-2019. This dwindled to a stable 800$ a month for 2022.
Thats a drop from 53$ a day to 26$
On December 8 2022 he announced on his news page that his Patreon was deleted. After which he post this strip
Currently he gets between 0-4 likes on his substack. With his highest ever on substack being 11 likes and 1 comment. Assuming all four likes are from people who are subscribed to him, that's 31.95$ a month.
His subscribestar says he makes 212$ a month
His Locals page has 36 supporters who visited within the last 4 weeks. Assuming all 36 pay the minimum 5$ a month that's another 180$
Total 424$ a month or 14$ a strip. It might be a lot higher since i didnt find any posts that weren't comics,
Considering he has put out a strip every day since 2000, with a full-page comic every Sunday since 2007. That's a staggering amount of effort for not a lot of money, even if he made a lot more before 2018.
I dont know how much money you could make from webtraffic, but in 2011 he supposedly averaged 2.3 million monthly unique visitors. So he was clearly fairly succesfull.

Sinfest used to be extremely popular. He used to be on Keenspot, which was THE webcomics collective, until he effectively he out grew them (or at least felt like he did) in the late aughts (google says 2006). I recall there was some moderate drama around Sinfest's departure but fucked if I remember what exactly.

I don't think there is a lot of mystery to the Ishida story.
He's Asian, Asians are known group-thinkers, so of course he'd be a rabid euphoric antichristian atheist. He's the right age for it and Sinfest started out when dissing on them homophobic fundies was all the rage. Even if I doubt he's stepped a foot in a church ever.
It's not a big of a stretch jumping from the atheist train to the male feminist train, especially if one has an interest in getting pussy. And it is not difficult to jump from the feminist train into the TERF train, if one has two neurons put together (note that the other option for a male feminist involves becoming trans).
Once on the TERF train, it's all Rowling down into Chuddification, it's unavoidable.
P.S. The chuddification of Ishida was also aided in great measure by COVID and him becoming a COVID skeptic. You have to be either above average intelligent or outright retarded to have entertained COVID skepticism in 2020.
