If we have to forcibly accept and tolerate gay people and homos as they laud their artificial dongs in front of our children we must also accept and tolerate the giant angry spergs.

For much like the fags they have endured decades of torture and therefore are now allowed to do as they please for any correction or complaint is an act of bigotry.

For who are we to judge? How can we even begin to relate to these inhuman creatures?

Damn, almost 7k now. I should post less at work...

This time I wasn't even angrily sperging though, honest. Snarkily sperging at worst.

The ban reason itself was the silly part. "Partially responsible for recent derail". Like, what about the history of previous infractions, or the fact that my account is still in junior phase?

Look, Corbin, I get it. It's annoying to have a mod sweep an argument under the kitty litter. I personally don't care that much for @Feline Darkmage ; I think he's frequently disingenuous.

But there's a big difference between A&H threads and Community Watch threads. I don't always get this one right either, but the rule as o understand it is this:

Political arguments are fine in A&H. That's what that subforum is for. Own the libs there, if that's your thing.

Community Watch is for mocking various communities. In the TDS thread, we mock TDS sufferers. In a thread on r/the_donald, we mock that subreddit. We don't get into the politics of why they got the hose.

Now, if the mods are shoving all discussion of what happened with that subreddit into the CW thread and then banning people from discussing Reddit's stupidity, that's pretty dumb. I don't know if that happened, but if it did, that's just shitty mods playing games, in my opinion. Wouldn't be the first time either.

But it's probably not the hill to die on.

I'll take time now to explain myself a bit more since mod messages are tiny af and aren't exactly good for that. I would have done it via PM but then this thread and the post on my profile were made. (would have responded sooner, but was busy doing other things at the time).

@AprilRains is entirely correct. (Though I don't appreciate being called disingenuous, but he has the right to say that.) Your problem was that our little spat was getting in the way of content, other users were complaining to mods and inside the thread itself, and you even got angry when I posted lolcontent for people to look at because that's the main reason people want to read that thread. They want boomers doing boomer things, even if they're getting fucked over, because its funny when boomers are fucked over.

I'll quote the important takeaway and main point of the above if what I said isn't clear

Basically: complaining that they're censored is off-topic and considered white-knighting (defending lolcows, which is against lolcow board guidelines) but that isn't the only thread talking about that. There is the previously noted Trump Derangement Syndrome thread (which you could make fun of tons of anti-Drumpf redditors in) and the reddit general thread, where it would be fair game to make fun of reddit's cucked admins for quarantining t_D.

The other problem is that it's not encouraged to complain about moderation decisions inside of lolcow threads, that's what threads like this (feedback) or Talk To Staff threads are for.

I may be wrong. I'm not great at reading minds, and I don't want to review your last hundred posts or whatever to recall why I have that impression. That said, my argument here is weak, and even I won't insist on it.

My remaining question is: Did you move the discussion of the quarantine of r/the_donald from an A&H thread to the CW thread? If you did, do you believe that discussions of whether that sucked or not do not belong in the CW thread? And if so, why didn't you leave the A&H thread for those who wanted to sperg about that?

I didn't see you address that, and I'd like to.

No the initial decision was not me. I only came in after, and thus never saw the original thread(s) or the subtitles thereof. I came in the middle of CDP complaining that it was moved and I said this to @X Prime

I'll defer to decisions made by peers or higher ups on what goes where but I'm not actually against a news thread in A&H for reddit quarantine incidents like this so that's why I find it funny that I'm being accused of doing that.

So ok, you realize the a&h thread was merged, thus of administration said "hey we have a topic for that already in community watch".

I found that silly, but obliged and carried on the merged conversation. Then you ban me for derailing. So the moderation said the quarantine was on topic but also off topic.

Whether or not that was on purpose, you have see how bullshit that is. I do appreciate the explanation.

However the fact remains, there is nowhere on kf where one is allowed to discuss the quarantine of the_donald. That's weird, if it was an accident can we get the a&h thread back?
