Let us never forget the fact that Barb dragged Bob to the altar.

Do we know that for sure? I don't remember reading anything that specifically indicated that.

There's a lot of empty patches from that point in time, starting from when Bob 'n' Barb met, which was recounted by Cole's bartending friend (which, considering Cole and the company he keeps, probably shouldn't be taken at face value). From all indications, the feelings behind their marriage (even if it was just blind, fleeting infatuation) were mutual.

Here you go.

...Still not seeing anything that indicates that. She "chased him down the hall." I wouldn't extrapolate that she forced him into marriage from that account.

I'm quite sure Barb will live through her probation. She might make it to Chris's big 35th. After that, I'm not so sure.

Any time. It wouldn't surprise me if it was tomorrow. It wouldn't surprise me if it's 5 years from now. But any time. You never know when a glob of Country Cookin will break free from an artery and plop down on an important part of her brain. Hers is a terrible way to live, but she will face the consequences of her choices. I think even less of her than I do of Chris. Chris's life will become horrible in ways he can't imagine when she goes, and that could happen any day. He should prepare himself. He won't, but he should.

I also just googled colitis, MAN that must be one horrid house to live in.

My mom has colitis, and yeah its horrible. She practically lives in the bathroom in the mornings, until about 1pm.

I totally put this on my Tumblr. lol...is Agnes getting after Seymour for buying warped coke bottles?

I don't know how long Barb has left, but all I know is that when she goes, Chris is royally screwed. To be honest, I don't like when people try to pinpoint the specific timeframe of when Barb's gonna die. I think she's got longer than we expect.

Will her funeral be properly attended? Will people soften their views of her? Will the CWCki be taken down for a period of mourning?
It seems like the extended Chandler/Weston clans have abandoned Barb and Chris, so I doubt the funeral will have many attendants. Probably be made up mostly of well-wishers from their church who go to comfort Chris. The cwcki went down for a bit when Bob died, so the same will probably be done when Barb goes. All depends on how Chris reacts, I guess.

Remembering how Chris turned his lack of Major Graduation Award into a one-man pity party, he's going to totally lose whatever few marbles had had left. He will insist on staying @ 14 BLC and expect Rocky to come by daily to feed him, but more likely a Probate Court will declare the property sold and the money put into a trust for Chris, who would then be moved into some halfwit house (which Chris will likely get kicked out of for fighting with the slow-in-the-minds there).

The biggest regret that unless his antics reach smokinggun.com levels and we get to see the arrest reports, none of us outside of Ruckersville will get to witness the Endgame.

How do you consider this "likely"?

It's not likely at all. Chris may be in the criminal court system, but thanks to Borb he has no significant presence or history in the mental health system. No court is magically going to be bored the day Barb dies and say "hey, let's take a look around town and see if any retards slipped through the cracks that we can take care of". Once Barb is gone, no one is coming to care for Chris. The only way he'll lose his house is if the bank takes it away because he doesn't keep up on payments. In which case, whatever civil court handles that seizure won't say "oh hey wait, you have autism? Oh okay, let's find you a place to live."

As someone living with mental illness, I may have some insight into the whole "Barb dies, Chris gets sent to the funny farm" aspect of this.
I'm in another country, so there will be some differences, but it is extremely difficult to have someone sent to an asylum or other such facility as long as the person in question has the faculties to say they don't want to go.
The most that would happen is a 72 hour hold to determine if he is likely to harm himself or someone else. Barring that, they just let you go with the suggestion to see a psychiatrist, which we all know Chris has had recommended to him at least twice (once during childhood and once related to his criminal charges) but he seems to not have followed through with it.

Long story short, he's more likely to go into bankruptcy and be forced into a homeless shelter than a mental ward.

(Long post, hopefully worth the read)

I can back that up. On the 21st of this month I was evicted at knife point by my roommate. He then went next door and threw equipment through the windows of his mother's trailer.

The police have Baker Acted him (Florida law similar to California 5150), and he had been held for 72 hours. On the day immediately after, I joined their family in sending like 10 pages worth of material to the psychiatrist asking for an extended retention. They're going to be holding a hearing on Wednesday to see if they need to hold him for longer than 72 hours, and I'll have to testify.

Psych laws in the United States are very weird. Mental health is not something most people care about. Our jail system is our mental health facility. The private corporations that own most of the prisons in the US actively lobby against hospitals being in charge of people with mental health issues and promote the war on drugs. When Chris is on his own, he will end up in jail. There's no way around it.

The guy that evicted us was addicted to drugs and was angry that my friend and I didn't pay rent with money that he could spend getting high, so he (unable to cope with his frustration) lashed out in the only way he knows how. He asserted himself violently because he's unable to communicate complicated ideas eloquently enough to be convincing. He had been coddled his entire life by his grandmother whom didn't let him go out to the movies by himself at the age of 28, so he's socially inept in a lot of the ways Chris is.

Chris exhibits fits of rage too. All of his videos where he's trying to prove how strong he is are a childish version of waving a steak knife around. The more he grows up completely detached from society, the more irrational his behavior becomes, the more dangerous he is. When he's 40-something, he'll be completely insane and totally alone. Maybe he forgot to pay the water bill, maybe his shower is inoperable, but lets say it's 10 years ahead from now, he's 41, unkempt, smelling like garbage and feces sitting in in a McDonalds restaurant. The manager walks up and tells him he has to leave. He stress sighs, tells the guy his life story, and the Manager (someone who'd be 12 today, growing up along with the Internet for 10 years) says something like, "Dude, please don't be butthurt about it. Just go."

The word "butthurt" triggers a flashback. 15 years of paranoia rush up through his cerebral cortex. He doesn't know how to handle it, he thinks of the trolls (the people he's dwelled on for more than a decade for 'ruining his life') are at it again. He grabs his plastic fork, lunges at the guy, and stabs him in the eye. A 41 year old 300 pound man reeking of garbage just partially blinded a 22 year old kid managing a McDonalds. That will be the final saga of Christian Weston Chandler.

there is absolutely no doubt about it. especially when you consider the trouble barb is keeping him out of by hoarding him from the outside world.

Nah, Barb is the one who needs to be kept out of trouble nowadays. Her immobility is doing that for her.

Yeah... Judging by his dental hygiene and the possibility he used that fork, said 22 year old could suffer so much shitty bacteria and could die since antibiotics can't do shit against his "fangs". Making out Pet Lolcow responsible for murder besides assault.
