On the old forum somebody said that beagles love to run around and play which Barb and Chris can't do with them (and in Chris's case he likely wouldn't if he was able.) But hell, the least he could do is take them to a dog park once or twice a week and toss a ball around with them. He'd get out of the house by doing so.
And dogs who don't get a lot of exercise can develop weight problems which will lead to further problems later in life.

It's not just weight problems. Dogs can develop pretty bad behavioral problems if they aren't socialized at a young age, both with people and other animals. I'd be worried about the fact that they'll eventually have some pretty nasty run-ins with the cats, especially since beagles have natural hunting instincts. With a good owner, beagles can be probably some of the best dogs you can own IMO. But considering their owners, the pups are going to grow to be incredibly destructive. Possibly even aggressive since beagles can and will snap and bite if they aren't trained at a young age. They will also obsessively howl.
In short, the Chandler household is fucked.

And he calls his trolling "cruel".

People have talked about calling the SPCA to attempt to get the dogs removed because they're in a very unhealthy and dangerous hoard and it doesn't seem their emotional needs are being met.
Somebody else said that the SPCA in the south simply can't respond to reports unless they're incredibly large cases of cruelty (puppy mills, animal hoarders, exotic animal smugglers)
I dunno, I'm gonna do some research on it.

I would. While the idea that their own laziness and irresponsibility will eventually lead to the pups destroying the hoard, it's not worth putting those dogs through a life of hell.

There doesn't seem to be a SPCA that can reach Chris's area (the one I found is for Northern Virginia, he's sort of in the middle) I guess I could try contacting them and asking about what to do. But I'm sure if I can because I'm not a citizen of the US

Treat the dogs right and let the out to play and *gasp* maybe talk to someone.

Chris doesn't talk with someone. He talks at them.

All Chris would do with such human contact is to blather on and on about the dang dirty Trolls and how some guy at a game store done him wrong.

But it'd be better than him saying that to himself while whining he is lonely an depressed. The point is to put in effort to doing one little thing. And I know he is allergic to effort, but he has an "in" right in front of him. People love dogs. Girls love dogs. Bring the cute beagles out of the trash heap and risk talking to a lady.

It's just a first step. The next step after realizing no one wants him to blather on and talk at them is to change attitude.

Okay wait, you're right. It's kind of a futile effort.

Comedy is just tragedy on fast-forward.

The park?! THERE ARE HOMOGAYS AT THE PARK

DA HOMOZ lurk everywhere! Chris has to be on constant guard lest one approach and try to convert him to a life of sin and fashion!

Yeah, it is. Plus if your dog doesn't see you as the "alpha" of the household, they'll take over. Basically, not only are those dogs going to make the Chandler household hell, they're literally going to see it as their own territory.

The House Saga.
The house saga began the day Barb started piling all her crap into the house. And by the look of his house at his 18th birthday. Barb had only started her packrat stage before she evolved into a hoarder.

I believe that several members two boards back tried to get in contact with the Charlottesville/Ruckersville animal control and they basically gave everybody the runaround.

Probably because several people tried it. These things are delicate.

Also the ASPCA has better things to do than take dogs from an autistic man and a widow living in a messy house. It just wouldn't look good in the papers, and I don't know if it would be worth it to them when there are puppy mills and other things much worse than what the Chandlers are doing.

Really, if they ordered them to clean up the house and come back in 30 days that would be the best thing to come out of this. Too bad it won't do anything to prevent Barb and Chris from being crappy pet owners.

The most depressing thing is that they were probably raised in a puppy mill and then adopted into a death sentence.

To be honest, they don't really look like purebreds. It doesn't make their fate any better though. :(

Probably off topic and has been mentioned before, but I think I know who Barb reminds me of...

Yup, Grandma-ma from Duckman.
