I might feel a little guilty if we beat the Mariners this series. Probably not though
It’d be on brand for the Mariners - have 3 Win, need literally just 1 win to get to the World Series, and then punch their fans in the dick and choke completely. Would still feel a bit guilty, but it’s Sports Guilt, it passes quickly.

Would a collapse be better or worse than likely being swept by the Dodgers? It’s likely going to happen regardless to whichever team makes it…

I think the Blue Jays can scrounge at least one WS game win, they just need to do the thing where they go crazy with not striking out for one game to tire the starter out, and then score 5 runs on Trinen or Banda. I think thr Mariners are going to get swept because all they do is swing for the fences and Dodgers starters are going to feast on that.

To be fair to Mariners fans, if they do win game 7, they can at least they could say "I saw the Mariners get to the World Series." and get swept by the Dodgers instead of "I got to see the Mariners blow another ALCS." and live in another 20 years of not seeing them even sniff the World Series, no matter the high end talent they have.

No matter what team makes it, we all lose. Let's be fair, unless Dave Roberts decides to ROYALLY screw things up with pitching, batting lineup, etc....The only way for the Dodgers to lose is for Shohei Ohtani getting caught with a underage hooker and betting on his team to win the World Series, Mookie Betts getting another stomach flu that will take him out of the series, or the team gets caught in a scandal of that of the 1919 Chicago White Sox, there is no stopping the Dodgers from winning it all once again.

Whoever wins game 7, be prepared to become the jobber to the stars, because it's gonna suck.

Mariners fan here. That's pretty much it. We're just hoping the team can get to the big show for once without craping out on the doorstep. Getting Naylor and Suarez rentals on the cheap was pretty much critical to even making the playoffs this year, and there's no way our cheapskate ownership will pony up for them or equivalent additional offense next season. So this is the year.

oh no no no no no

Springer puts the Blue Jays ahead with a 3-run bomb in the bottom of the 7th. You could see that one coming as soon as he came up to the plate. He was locked in and Seattle was rattled.

It just had to be Springer lmao, he's like the Altuve of the Mariners.

Hoffman coming in, it ain't over yet

Did not throw Julio a single strike and gets the final strike out. That's rough buddy.

Dan Wilson should be fired for that shit. You just walk Springer. Even if the next guy gets a hit you still only get a run or possibly two, not a fucking 3 run home run. Just a dipshit over managing his rotation and watching them suck because of it. Can any starting pitchers that come out of the minors go through the lineup more than once without sucking anymore? Seems the only ones who can are either old as fuck, or Japanese.
