Dan Wilson should be fired for that shit. You just walk Springer. Even if the next guy gets a hit you still only get a run or possibly two, not a fucking 3 run home run.
I don't know man, do you really want to risk Vlady getting up there with the bases loaded? Springer hadn't looked too good since he got his knee popped, maybe a 4 pitch intentional walk would have been better to try but still, it was a hard position no mater how you slice it.

You mean Lukes? Vlad is third in the lineup not second.

I know Ohtani is going to Super Saiyan his way through The Blue Jays but this still feels so special. Immediately ordered a Jays hat with the World Series patch on it. It's still historic no matter what happens.

You’re giving me the choice of siding with buy the league fc or siding with Canada?

FFS.

Ok, good luck dodgers.

I feel like people are underestimating the Blue Jays against the Dodgers. I know the Dodgers are coming off a dominant NLCS, but the Blue Jays have that "it" factor that will make them very tough to beat.
As a Jays fan I actually don't think we're gonna win this one but god dammit I hope you're right

Expectations are down to the way the Dodgers have just wrecked their playoff opponents on the NL side.

That said the Jays' offense is absolutely potent from #1-9. One of the thing that killed the M's this series (aside from standard Mariners failures with runners in scoring position) was that the pitchers were just worn out inning after inning by a lineup with no easy outs. It was brutal.

Dodgers pitching has been lights out in the postseason, but they aren't perfect and were much more average during the regular season. If the Blue Jays can keep that offensive pressure up on a well-rested LA staff, they've got a chance. Big if though.

I have to agree that our entire batters lineup is ridiculous. There are no bad hitters, and because of that, the opposing pitchers get no breaks. Our bullpen is so mixed though.
Very interested to see how Game 1 goes.

We might be getting Bo back in time for the World Series, but I have to wonder where we even slot him in that case.

Our lineup is actually doing decent enough without him that I’m not entirely sure who you swap out…

Vesia is out probably for the entire WS
