Pirates score 9 runs tonight........... in the 7th inning........... and sweep the Dodgers. Man, bad night to be the NL West.

lmao the Cubs justswept the Giants in a 4 game series u mad @Hellblazer

Nah. The non-Bumgarner pitching has been iffy all year, and the Cubs just blew through it. Wish SF could've pulled out tonight's game, though. Best offense in the NL, bases loaded, nobody out and the best they could throw up to hit were Hector Sanchez (worthless), the ghost of the player that used to be Angel Pagan, and a good fourth outfielder.

The Dodgers have been in free-fall as well, so there's time to right the ship. Just need to get something at all out of the rotation. Leake's injury hurts a lot.

Congrats to Mike Fiers on his no-hitter. Not bad for a guy who hadn't even had a complete game before.

lolDodgers

2nd time in nearly a week the Dodgers get no-hit

I wonder how much the Orioles are regretting dealing Jake Arrieta and Pedro Strop for 15 mediocre Scott Feldman starts

The Pirates and Cubs are playing meaningful baseball games, for both teams, in September.

I'm officially in Bizzaro-world.

The A's called up Barry Zito and he'll be starting against Tim Hudson this weekend. That should be a neat nostalgia game.

Where DID that decade go? I'm gettin' to be an old man when players I remember getting their call-ups are now in what might as well be Legends Day games..... or, in the case of my team, a guy I saw pitch regular-season is now the radio color guy..... you no good kids get offa my lawn!

I legitimately had no idea that Zito was still in the game.

He didn't pitch last year, but spent this season throwing in AAA for the A's because he felt like playing baseball again. He had a pretty decent year, too.

To be honest, his legacy for me is how awful he was with the Giants.

Cardinals are the NL Central division champs for the third straight season. AUGH YEAH

Good luck in that wild card game, Pirates and cubbies.

Hacking other team's scouting info works wonders, doesn't it?

edit: You changed my rating from disagree to dumb, nice revenge rate

Go Astros, beat Yankees! Not that I really have a stake, what with both the A's and the Giants out...

But still, the Astros went from three straight seasons of 100+ losses to second AL wild card. Good on them.

Yea, it was definitely hacking that led our team to top. Not that we have some of the best pitchers in the league and one of the best coaches, it was all because we hacked the Houston Astros (A team yet to ever win the WS) that led to having over 100 wins this season. Great analysis.

No, the hacking was done by a vengeful employee who didn't like Jeff Luhnow from back when he was an executive for the Cards. The person responsible for it was immediately fired.

Also, the dude just used an old password. That's not even hacking.
