Weren't we just talking about professional at-bats and the need to pass the baton ?

I looked at the scorecard and wouldn't you know it, this Yesavage faggot hasn't even given up 1 walk.

You know what's even more fucked up about it ? It ain't like he HASN'T thrown the ball outside of the zone quite a bit.

Roberts leaving fucking Banda out there is basically him waving the white flag. He's punting this game (and perhaps he doesn't have a fucking choice).
 
This game is over. Dodgers needs the Monstars to give them their talent back. Where's Bugs Bunny when you need him? Please don't let it end on Haloween Dodgers.

I didn't watch 2023 ALCS game 6 because games 3,4,5 made me want to throw up and it's one of my biggest regrets. You never really know what will happen, might as well watch unless your going to get laid instead.
 
I still think Roberts jinxed the team with his faggy "let's ruin baseball again!" comment after beating the Brewers. I hate that kind of shit. You're just tempting fate and look what's happened.
I'm going to watch the next game(s) regardless of what happens. Win or lose that's part of sports.

Yeah I know, I'll probably end up watching it.

I think that I'll need to watch "The Comeback" and dream about an improbable comeback from the Dodgers like the Red Sox did so many years ago.

I know that anything can happen...I'm just so tired of execution fuck ups and errors killing this team. All throughout the season, that's been the issue and people pretended that it would just magically go away. The world is simply not that convenient.

We won against a Yankees team that was imploding and too busy dancing to Ice Cube rather than focusing before a game.

Toronto barely made it into the series to begin with.

These are small sample sizes for what the teams can do. Just enjoy the ride for what it is.

They got hot at the right time and are executing game plans while giving the Dodgers NOTHING in terms of mistakes and self-inflicted wounds.

The Dodgers on the other hand ? They have all of these talented hitters but they can't even put up a fight ? I mean, maybe it's the hitting coaches who are the problem ? Or perhaps the dogmatic approach to fucking data and analytics, I don't know.

Whatever the fuck it is, the Dodgers are getting their teeth kicked in by a team against which they have had very real matchup advantages.

Dave Roberts is big part of the problem and so are several elements of the staff and front office. I just hate this shit.
 
I have to congratulate Yesavage for a great start. He made Snell look bad even though Snell didn’t do bad aside from two freak home runs. My main concern is with Mookie and the 9th batting spot which have turned into liabilities. Even if Yamamoto can shut out the Jays, it’s not going to be meaningful if the Dodgers can’t get hits.

Hits are the key to beating the Blue Jays as their offense is relatively weak. This is how the Mariners almost beat them. As long as the top of the lineup can get back to being consistent, Jays will lose.
 
Is it just me, or is John Smoltz the most infuriating commentator that you've ever heard ? I want to gauge my eyes out when this idiot fuck opens his mouth.

Yeah he is kind of bad and focuses too much on pitching. At least Joe Davis has turned into a great storyteller.

It’s way better than what we got with Buck though. His postseason games were infuriating to listen to.

If I had a nickel for every time buck said "The Jays are legit" this postseason, there would not be enough atoms in the observable universe to supply the existence of such a quantity of nickels

There’s a reason I’m fairly content working during most of the games and keeping up via MLB’s game breakdown on their site - I can ignore the commentary.

Does mean I’mma be pissed if the Jays win the Big One and I don’t get to see it live, but trade-off’s I guess…
