She's definitely not as cringy as other people but she has her moments. The thing is that she's very shallow and the only reason she's gotten some fame is because she's been riding on Dave Cullen's coattails all this time. She seems to enjoy having the attention of being an "ex-Muslim" just as many of those #metoo bitches enjoy the attention of being victims of sexual assault. I don't think she's a bad person, I don't think she intentionally tried to scam people, but she turned out to be so stupid to handle the whole thing and fucked it up. I think you can see in Dave Cullen's last video about the subject that they aren't on good terms anymore and he was smart enough to subtly point out she has a fiance to put down the rumours of them banging. Seriously, this bitch is such a freak control that she canceled Dave's decisions on the event just as he went to sleep. Imagine acting like this against the person who made you popular in first place.

Her buddy, Lizz Reptile, is definitely a lolcow. Lizz’s lunacy could be shielding Based Mama from a lot of shit by comparison. Also, Based Mama isn’t just an ex-Muslim, she’s also an ex-Mormon. Based Mama intended to scam people. She wanted to use her “YouTube friends” to get the convention money and attention. Once the money was obtained, she believed she was in the clear to disinvite people she disliked and frustrate others’ attempts to communicate with her to the point they bail, making room for people she wanted. On the January 10th Morning Kumite, Bearing talks about how Based Mama just can’t help herself from lying. Her being an ex-Mormon is meaningless. Is not like she was part of a cult, probably just a strict branch as some people come from strict secular households. I know many Mormons and aside from some very specific things, they're ok people. In fact, they are actively trying to do some good in the world.

I wasn’t badmouthing Mormons. I was merely stating that she claims to be both an ex-Muslim and ex-Mormon. I was making no judgements on Mormons or Muslims. My only judgements were reserved for Based Mama due to her actions, not due to her ex religions.

I did see that. Cognitive Thought and Schmeckle did a stream where they went over the recording Lizz and Zeph made of Sevvie Rose having a breakdown. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cbNpiDr3pwE It’s absolute gold. It seems like all the drama in this crowd involves her in some way.

Dunno if it's just my perception, but it's interesting how BM was viewed by women (a lot of us here) as opposed to the big clever boys of the alt-right, anti-SJW, anti-feminist territory.

They are quick enough to see and call out uber-nut feminists but completely and utterly blinded by another archetype as personified by this bimbo - she totally played them and it's so glaringly obvious. I thought the muslim thing is because she's one of these stupid women who convert to Islam simply because she wanted to marry a Muslim guy. Isn't one of her kids abroad? In other words, she can scream about independent-woman all the way but when it comes down to the knuckle, she's not an independent thinker at all. Just follows a different herd when it suits, even if it removes all her agency. I'm somewhat cynical when people change their principles for convenience, and they're often the ones that go OTT to prove how "real" their new thing is.

I don't think the alt-right ever bought it but the anti-sjws/anti-feminists definitely did. You're probably right about most of them mostly thinking with their dicks. I'd imagine if Based Mama was instead Based Daddy they wouldn't have been able to pull off this scam. Also, Based Mama being an ex-muslim probably also helped as well.

I know very little about Based Mama, but based on the numbers on her videos I don't buy it that anyone was particularly taken in by Based Mama, apart from Computing Forever.

The Kilroy Event was clearly a good idea based on the response (even if it did have a shit name) and BM deserves praise for that and for getting CF on side to promote it, but apart from him who else was taken in by her? She tried to pull dumb shit with the contracts she sent out, those contracts were quickly seen to be ridiculous and the event pretty much burned to the ground instantly.

Raising $85k on the back of little but words seems a pretty good indicator.

Sorry, that's just me being a narky cow. "Taken in" didn't really relate to Kilroy - your analysis is on the ball - but more from seeing her in interactions on livestreams, etc. As @Buer said, there's just an aura of being led by their dicks, she plays up the "all lads together thing" but its fake somehow and you can pick it up in the interactions.

I'm not explaining at all well. Its too nuanced, too hard to explain a vibe. And, of course, that is entirely perception, and no two people ever have the same perception. But, if nothing else, she's been right up in pretty much every big slapfight recently - Kilroy, Kraut, JSBS, Do5 - and that's really stretching coincidence far beyond twanging point if we're supposed to buy the "who, me?" innocent bystander rather than someone shoving their oar in wherever they can get exposure. She's such a genius, she'll know all about Occam's Razor ;-)
