Most of these people likely weren't there to see Bashur getting "exposed". Remember that his main claim to fame was that Minecraft Hobo series he did in 2011, when the game first came out.

Consider that his main audience at the time was 11-15 year olds. Since he randomly stopped the series back in 2012, many of them probably left to go watch Yogscast, Hatfilms, and Rooster Teeth. By the time the allegations came out he was already well past his prime on the platform.

Add onto the fact that drama channels weren't really a big thing back then, and the people exposing him were a few small youtubers and Keemstar. While Keemstar was a bigger voice and got some attention on the topic, at the time he was in his own controversies after doxxing and falsely accusing another streamer of being a pedo, which hurt the legitimacy of his claims. Not to mention he was outed for using the nigger word, which further muddied things despite clear evidence and Bashur's own confession.

Most of Bashur's former fans by this point were likely busy with high school and college, and the whole situation likely just flew past them.

Fast forward to now, and many of these people are probably just commenting out of nostalgia for some of the stuff they watched when they were younger, completely unaware of the fact that he's a pedophile.

Something i just realized was why the fuck were green screens being used way too much back in ( 2016-i dont even know if they still use it becasue i am no longer in the commentary community anymore ) did some of them not realize they were just asking for mockery given the drama-ridden nature of commentary communites

Well I didn't really follow this guy much, aside from seeing that weird video where he cried about totally not being a pedophile or whatever. Then again, apparently nobody else did either, because his thread was like 3 pages before he died. Uh, I guess grave dancing is always cringe, except maybe for pedophiles, and by all accounts this dude kind of was just unremarkable except for diddling kids, and probably basically nobody is gonna miss him.

He was boring, then he died of a spicy flu that only kills boomers and feeders, and now 75% of his thread is variations on "lol pedo", including this post.

COVID patients are usually put into a coma before being intubated, mostly to prevent the patient thrashing around, but also because the entire process is painful as fuck.

That said, his final days leading up to being put on the ventilator would have been absolute hell, since his own airway would essentially be suffocating him.

Agree to disagree, but that's fine, it's arguable.
Not on the legality (after all, a 75 year old could date an 18 year old and that would be considered legal), but on the developmental front.
Honestly if you're dating someone who is more than outside "your" decade once you are past your early twenties, that's kinda weird to me. There's no way a 20 year old has a similar amount of life experience to a 40 year old unless the latter is developmentally stunted.

I'd rather have a 17 and a 15 year old fuck, or an 18 year old and a 16 year old than a 40 year old and a 20 year old. The former sounds like teens being teens, the latter sounds like either a horny cougar or a maladjusted old weirdo trying to get a trophy girl.
At 40, you usually have a pretty settled personality and clear orientation in life, vis-a-vis career. At 20, all bets are still off.


19 and 13 is fucked up nonetheless and puts this dead dipshit firmly in Chagot (or however he spells his name) territory.

Couldn't have happened to a better person.

I want to start a petition where instead of cremating or traditional burials for pedophiles, we instead seal them in concrete and bury them at sea like nuclear waste. That way on the off chance that the dead do rise for whatever reason; they don't.

yeah I wasn’t arguing on a socially acceptability factor, more on the basis of legality and consent. I honestly don’t have much of an opinion on a 20 year old dating a 40 year old because while it’s not something I would do, it’s technically not illegal. There are also good reasons why someone presumably in their mid to late 20’s would want to date someone older for reasons you just mentioned about someone in their 40’s.

It's possible, but it's very fucking unlikely. The overall infection fatality rate for 30-39 year olds is <0.1%, and >90% of those are with preexisting conditions. Your chance of dying as a healthy 30-something is less than 1:10,000.

Faking his own death, or his family covering up a suicide/OD both seem like more probable scenarios
