I think what differentiates him from at least a significant portion of the KF community is that he's not looking for the happy ending. In a Keemstar world, CWC fucking his mom is the best possible outcome.

There's people that not only point at the train accident and stare at it in awe (and laugh at the conductor), they'd rather the trains collide than that they didn't.

I feel strongly that in a KF world, Chris managing to do his commissions, which stabilizes his family situation and income and somehow after everything that has happened making something out of Bob's legacy is the good ending that people would like to see - they don't anticipate it, but it would be nice.

Case in point - people on here like that Amy (of Amy and Tamy Slaton) actually manages to lose weight and get her life in order.
That's not the ideal outcome for people that thrive on #DramaAlert

It's like Byuu when the foreign death records were posted. People wanted Byuu dead just because "those damn Kiwis killing trans people". We don't need suicides to promote a cause. It makes people look fucking cruel to wish a person killed themselves so that they can "make a point" rather than them just faking their suicide.

Do you think she has some insider knowledge?
I dont really follow her, but if i had a guess i would say no. Seems like she is just trying to stay in her own lane and stick to sex work. People obviously are gonna want to get a reaction from her by asking about what happened and she just shut it down before it started. I looked and she privated her twitter (idk how long its been like that) so maybe the trolling started on twitter.

I'm sorry, but that reeks of spin and bullshit. In the modern era most states have pretty well established "Romeo and Juliet clauses that kick in. Particularly if both participants are over 15.

He got dumped hardcore on the sex offender registry. The girl was 13 or less and he was probably 19. Because that's almost certainly what would be needed to get hi. The deal and punishment he got. Were there some other counts in there? Custodial interference perhaps? Transporting a minor across state lines for sex?
The KY age of consent at the time was 16. No "Romeo and Juliet" style laws applied. There is one now, passed in 2018, that effectively changed the age of consent to 18, but provided that 16- and 17-year-olds can consent so long as the age gap does not exceed 10 years. But at the time, it was 16.

I'm actually curious what the actual charges were. The mugshot site listed "UNLAWFUL TRANSACTION W/MINOR <16-1ST DEG," which isn't statutory rape; it's a distinct criminal statute. I assume that he was convicted of rape, but it could be enlightening to know what exactly, because the law has a tiered structure.

The fact that most of the relevant statutes were amended in 2018 makes it kind of difficult to even tell what potential charges could have been brought. Currently at least, it doesn't appear there's any discretionary element in sex offender registration; any adult over 18 convicted of a sex offense against a minor is required to register, without exception.

I can't imagine any DA dropping that heavy of a hammer for a newly 18 year old fucking his 15 yo high school girlfriend. There had to be something else going on there. Something that really pissed somebody off. That's why I think either the agrs are bullshit or he performed some act of custodial interference. Because 18 v 15 would not normally put you on the sex offenders registry for 20 years. Even in 2001 Tennessee.

According to SkyDoesMinecraft, Bashur told him in private that the girl was 13. Then Bashur went on to make a video claiming the girl was 15

I'm not sure who's telling the truth, but given Bashur's manipulative videos on the matter I'm going to have to give Sky the benefit of the doubt over Bashur

Not necessarily. Some young people don't wanna admit they were together with someone, so they pull out the rape/minor card.
I have no idea though what actually happened, but no victim has ever publicly gone forward to clear up the situation. From my perspective he is not a pedophile. He just got accusations thrown at him and rumors started sprouting. His meltdown sure didn't help his case. What a fucking idiot he was.

He was arrested for a criminal sexual act against a minor, was reportedly convicted (I haven't seen proof, but it seems credible) and placed on the sex offender registry, and he publicly admitted to the accusation. That makes him pretty fucking guilty.

So, what the deal with the story of him being a pedo? I saw a few people on twitter say that the story (which is in the OP of this thread) was "disproven" but...he's still a convicted pedo. What was "disproven"? None of them elaborate on this.

In summary:
Bashur was talking to what he claims a 14 year old girl while he was 17, then he turned 18 and she turned 15. SkyDoesMinecraft claimed that Bashur told Sky that the girl was actually 13. Which one is telling the truth, who knows

Either way, according to Bashur's own admission (start at 16:35) the girl's parents found out, a private investigator came to his house and this later led to him being arrested. He was successfully convicted but managed to avoid jailtime and was given court mandated therapy and apparently lost access to his electronics for awhile.

The people on Twitter are possibly referring to other allegations against Bashur like a girl who came forth saying Bashur was sending her thirsty messages when she was 17 and he was 28

Or they're just idiots who don't know Bashur himself admitted to talking to a 14 year old on the internet when he was nearly a adult
