I want to strangle Jesse Eisenberg.

Ben Afflec was a good batman

First half of the film was terrible and the second half was much better

Overall a mixed bag.

Thoughts?

Looks like it's going to be a massive box office bomb. It needs to make 800 million to break even and projections worldwide are at about 300 million.

So yea this doesn't bode well for DC.

That and WB played their hand way too soon with
killing Superman
.

Oh, and apparently Snyder snuck in a cameo of Jimmy Olsen in the movie. He's that photographer that gets his head blown off in front of Lois.

So there's that.

Man, they forced too much shit into the film. If they just made it simpler the beginning would be more coherent.

Wonder woman does not need to be in this movie for a start.
 
The plot is also beyond retarded. Batman is angry at the collateral damage and loss of life that occurred during Superman's battle with Zod?

Yea because that never happens in the Batman universe.

Bob Iger should send Kevin Tsujihara a thank you card for making Civil War look good in comparison. Disney doesn't have to worry about bombing their box office returns

This is a different film universe than Nolan's batman so I could understand that. What I don't understand is that batman kills people in this movie, yet the dude is angry at superman?

There's like 3-4 movie plots all shoved into this one so they can do the Justice League two parter movie. And god damn, does it show.

Not to mention this Batman goes around murdering everyone. Shooting them, breaking their necks...I think he shot a grabbing hook through some guy's chest at one point.

Kinda fucks over his whole moral ground outrage.

I could see them trying to go for that. Affleck definitely seems to have portrayed a Batman that's kind of lost his moral center.

Warner Bros, on the other hand...

I can see general audiences liking it. The ending fights were strong enough to wash the bad taste of the first half of the film out.
