battle for CWCville: a warcraft 3 lolcow mod

Ok so I decided I am going to do a warcraft 3: dota playstyle esque map with lolcows as playable heroes. Please note this is NOT a trolling plan, I actually intend to make this a fun playable game. I also need to practice my modding for bigger projects.

I will post pics of my progress.

Give me suggestions (what should be pickable heroes, their abilities, terrain, units, etc.)

I need 10 playable heros for now

CWC, Rika, ADF, and Haiyakain will be useable heroes

Give me suggestions on who should be the other six heroes should

The game definitely needs to have A-log and maybe someone like Coppercab.

As much as i would love to have a-log in this, i just can't do to many similarities with CWC (their hero abilities would be way to similar) i guess ill check out to see who this coppercrab to see if he's noteworthy enough

Name: Christian/ Weston /Chandler
Hero: CWCville Mayor

Description:

“It is said that Chris Chan was the very first Lolcow to manifest into the internet”
(This is a temporary description)


Hero Type: Tardrage (strength) base/ Melee/tank /Blade Damage/Medium armour

Abilities:

First ability/ Curse-ye-ha-me-ha: Forces up to 5 (increases further as it is upgraded) nearby units to attack CWC and passively increases tardrage(strength)

Second Ability/ Fecal Incontinence (passive): Melee attackers take damage and temporarily decrease their attack power every time they strike CWC.

Third ability/ Nauseating Stench (passive): units that come into close proximity with CWC suffer damage overtime.

Ultimate Ability/ The Destroyer Hoard: Unleashes swarms of insects damaging enemy units and healing CWC simultaneously when activated.

I think you should make Chris' ultimate "ELECTRIC HEDGEHOG POWER! PEW!" It represents his ultimate detach from reality.

Rika's sprite should be a ghoul.

Patti can be a spirit wolf.

I decided to do A-Log After all
Name: Anthony 'A-Log' LoGatto
Hero: Maggot Lord

Description:

“A-Log was a failed project to be the ultimate anti-Chris weapon, but in the end the experiment failed. Out of jealousy, A-Log now seeks revenge against Chris.”

Hero Type: Tardrage (strength) base/ Melee/tank /Blade Damage/heavy armour

Abilities:

First ability/ Polluted Airwave: Breath attack that poisons and silences

Second Ability/ Blind Aspiration: Buff; gives nearby friendly units (and A-log) temporary evasion.

Third ability/ Morbid Obesity (passive): Grants bonus HP and HP regeneration.

Ultimate Ability/ LoGatto’s Rot (switchable): when activated, slows the attack speed and movespeed of nearby enemies, and damages overtime, but A-log also takes damage overtime as well.


Rika
Name: Rika Stiles
Hero: High Warlord of the Wraith

Description:
Rika was recently defeated and banished to the Autistic Nightmare by a Smug Ellen Page (sorry I had to Rio). Angry and completely delusional, Rika seeks revenge on all who appose him and get in his way.

Hero Type: ADHD (agility) base/melee/dps/blade damage/ unarmored


Abilities

First Ability/ Mutilate: A random melee attack that has a chance of either hurting the target, hurting yourself, or hurting both.

Second Ability/ Manipulator (passive): Rika has a chance to completely block out an attack and hit a nearby enemy instead (unit hits itself if there are no other units around)

Third Ability/ Schizophrenia (passive0: If more than 6 units (requirements decrease when upgraded) are attacking Rika, its attack speed increases temporarily

Ultimate Ability/ Chemical Frenzy: Increases attack speed and grants 200% life leech


and Snogger
Name: Gemma Wilson The Snogger
Hero: Mutant Worm

Description:

Some say that Snogger was once an ordinary maggot worm that was mutated by the powers of sperg.

Hero Type: Insanity (Intelligence) base/ Ranged/Dps /Sperg (magic) Damage/ Unarmored

Abilities:

First ability/ Devour: Forces an enemy unit (or friendly unit) to forfeit a certain amount hit points and which half of that amount transferred to Snogger’s Sperg (mana) pool

Second Ability/ Naga Spawn: launches a projectile that explodes and spawns poisonous snakes.

Third ability/ Red Venom (passive): all normal attacks made by Snogger cause temporary Sperg (mana) loss in the same way poison would do to hitpoints; also temporarily slows the target

Okay so development is going really slowly and It may take at least a month and a half to finish the first version of this map, but I am making progress.

Abilities:

First ability/ Sacrifice: deals melee damage to a single target; if the target dies from this, Emina will gain a temporary increase in attack power and speed.

Second Ability/ Conversion: damages all nearby enemy units (the weaker the unit the more damage it takes), any deaths caused by this replenishes Eminas HP and Sperg (mana) by a small percentage.

Third ability/ Pain And Pleasure (passive): any unit (including herself) being damaged near Emina, will restore 2%(more when upgraded) of her total sperg(mana) and HP.

Ultimate Ability/ Self-Mutilation: increases the effectiveness of her next spell casted (more casts when upgraded), at the cost of 30% of her total HP.


Coppercab
Name: Michael Faggabon
Hero: Crimson Berserker

Abilities:

First ability/ Grudge Strike: deals melee damage to a single target and takes more damage from all Coppercabs attacks temporarily.

Second Ability/ Deafening Roar: Decreases all nearby enemy units attack power and defense temporarily.

Third ability/ Rage: Increases his attack speed and power for temporarily when activated, but also makes him take more damage.

Ultimate Ability/ Red Fury (passive): every time Coppercab takes and/or deals damage it increases his Tardrage (strength) by a small amount to a maximum amount for a short duration(unless he’s still in combat).

Okay....this is going to be a non-trivial hack.

Lets find out if the game engine can detect if a target is a character or an inanimate object.
Now lets see if we can arrange it so that a Hero Unit's special attack has different effects depending on what a target is (a character or an inanimate object.)
Then arrange it so that Coppercab is affected as if his character model were an inanimate object.

Because, y'know, like an inanimate object, he doesn't have a soul....so attacks that only work on things with souls would obviously won't work on him. Right?

are you actually serious (which I don't think you are) or is this a legitimate question?

If you are being serious, then no to the above. You can't even do that, the WC3 engine can't even do anything like that, maybe with triggers, but no fucking way am i going to make a 3 mile long script just to make give a Copper a ridiculous (and overpowered) ability. I actually plan on playing this game for fun so it cant be imbalanced at all.

Sorry if If this seemed rude, but I just can't consider an ability like that.
 
^^ In Warcraft 3, spells only work on living units that don't have spell immunity and nearly always fail on mechanical units. If one were to play on Coppercab's gingerness (i.e. lack of soul), one would make him a mechanical unit or give him an ultimate ability like 'Avatar' or 'Robo-goblin' which makes him immune to magic (Coppercab realises the 'truth' that gingers have no souls).
