If they still have the Battle Pass monetization then it will be matchmaking only. We saw how they nerfed the EXP in Portal when they found out that people were grinding their pass there and not in the actual multiplayer.

People are already making fun of Battlefield 6 PAX Armata for being led by France. But anyone else surprised by Ukraine joining the anti-NATO bad faction? If it’s just EA wanting a Inoffensive non-controversial bad guys. Than why make France and Ukraine lending the geopolitical villain faction against NATO?

Perhaps it's to appease the current US admin or something similar to it. Plus it's always funny to laugh at Le France.

The only way France would leave NATO is if the country became an islamic state (which is soon, probably).
I already prefer this setting to "muh global warming" from BF2042.

Very cool game engine footage that doesn't show anything major. I do like some of the scenes where it looks like MW2 (the original) I.E the carousel, the trenches. The multiplayer reveal is the 31st so we'll see how that is. I probably won't be purchasing this game because I don't have remote boot on and I won't be turning it on for EA.

Pax Armata are even using French uniforms. My guess it’s a response to France threats of leaving NATO or EA games want white bad guys without it being Russia again.

So the opening scene from Civil War, yet another "unprovoked attack" on America, helicopters plowing through buildings, and not-Atlas as the bad guys. I know BF stories are even more perfunctory than COD but this is a new level of meh.

I would have tossed them a pre-order if they had the balls to do a 2ACW scenario. It would have been shit but at least it would have been different shit.

Are they bringing factions back? Seeing the Brooklyn Bridge and America under attack gave me MW2, MW3 vibes. I don't think the story would be interesting enough beyond spectacle from destruction and scale.

What would a multiplayer reveal show that wasn't leaked from the closed access?
 
It's like CoD:Ghosts all over again with America facing off against the Federation Pax Armata.

Singleplayer campaign possibly to include dropping guys into a flooded river, your dad dying and a cliffhanger that is never resolved.

Its 100% this. Didnt you know its 2025 and its bigoted to shoot brown people in your vidya? China and russia are out to appeal to the global audience. Which is why they have to pretty much event a COBRA faction from GI Joe for NATO to fight.
