Mostly seems promising and I look forward to playing the beta. But not sure why they're still bothering with Portal. Without the ability for users to modify the game code, create new maps and import new assets, it's just heavily watered down modding and just seems like a massive waste of resources to create something so half-arsed.

Keep in mind, all it takes is one autist with spare time and create abusive of systems to create a new game mode within the games parameters.

My prayers got answered.

Most of the target audience is too young to remember Bad Company 2 but man... 5 minutes of that game had more immersion than than the last 10 Call of Dutys combined.

I recently played Battlefield 1 on ultra settings and Jesus Christ... World War 1 never felt so pleasing to the eyes.
I wasn't able to see shit thanks to 371 lens flares at the same time but getting decimated by sweats camping the same spot was at least nice to look at.

Totally unplayable as a newbie though because people with 10,000 hours knew exactly where to shoot without even looking and you were not able to walk more than 3 feet without eating a few pounds of lead every time.


I wonder if Delta Force will fuck them in the ass now that the console release got announced for late August/September.

Will be a tough pill to swallow to get the Battlefield (tm) experience for 0 dollars in comparison to basically 100 dollars + tips for the "full" experience.

not really, there isn't much shooters that are made for consoles.
if they make it for switch 1 and 2 then it's a good move since little to no competition, delta force is doing fine for now but we will see if the BF addicts will flock back to BF6, tarkov is slowly recovering after pve mode was added.
 


I still think about this TV spot for Battlefield 3 sometimes, I remember playing the shit out of this game after getting back from Afghanistan with my buddies.

Women in war were a novelty that didn't even pan out, despite being forced today. They are a distraction in game and irl. I've heard directly from the mouths of female service members that sex and relationships are absolutely rampant and cause major issues all the time.

Any time any criticism of female soldiers is mentioned in comments on reddit, facebook, wherever, there are a dozen flaming faggots/women/bots ready to paste in a reply about misogyny.
The funny thing is that part of the reason I hate it is because it feels fucking weird to shoot at women. Obviously I've gotten used to it by now in gaming after years of desensitization, but I remember when Ghosts came out, it was the first time women were represented in CoD. There was a huge sentiment among everyone, myself included, that the knife animation felt extremely bizarre when done to a female soldier.
I guess we're stuck with it now in perpetuity.

Looks nice on the trailer, but will it actually live up to it? I'm not a fan of suicide drones though, there's a good reason that both Ruskies and Ukrops execute operators on the spot when caught, that bullshit is OP.

Spend way too long grinding out that single player bot demo back in the day. Never gotten around to playing the game since there were others I got involved in at the time(and I became a COD guy besides), are the servers active enough to play in today?
