I'll have hope. Gonna wait like everyone else before I cast it aside. The gameplay I saw from Jackfrags and LevelCap seem promising.

I do hope that Battlefield 6 would be enough to bring back Battlefield Friends. Of course, it wouldn’t be the same without Thick44. F. He would’ve loved this.

It was released at the wrong time, occasionally people boot it up for a try and enjoy the gameplay but have to join the one server, in Germany, that actually has players.

With the while Michael Brown situation in America (cop related shooting,) EA did not want to risk the bad timing from current events.

EA ain't going to do anything to annoy BF cattle while they are still trying to recover what they have lost, expect BF7 to be exactly like BF6 but for PS6 and shieet.

I'm pretty sure Thick was the guy that drove them to play Battlefield, as he seemed the most passionate and enthusiastic about it. Last I remember, he was the one to bring them into Ark and 7 Days to Die, which are pretty much their core games. Losing him took a lot out of the group dynamic they once had - he is sorely missed.

Is Bad Company canon? What about Hardline and 2142?

I don't think it will be since it isn't a mainline entry, though BFV shouldn't be with its bastardisation either. The property can exist with several offshoots, and it's honestly better that they remain separate. That being said, Vince Zampella sounded like he wanted a consistent Battlefield universe in the future, so who knows what will become of that.

If there were, I could only imagine the rape statistics
In actuality, they probably mean meme snipers(like during WW2) or undercover agents of some kind as "female combat soldiers" since they could technically get into combat at anytime.

Yes but no, but also yes. In WW1 there were female pilots and soldiers because of how desperate they were, in WW2 they were primarily propaganda pieces though the few actual snipers did get confirmed kills. Of course with fighting in/near cities and their lack of paying attention there were likely women who did some shooting in an unofficial capacity.

The Soviet Union did lose a good chunk of it's population so it's not outside the realm of possibility.


The one thing I see multiple people dislike is how some of the maps from the beta are more dense and smaller than previous BF titles. I personally loved the smaller maps from 3 and 4. 1 and 5 despite having some good maps it had a good chunk of massive open fields with barren land that if you didn't have a vehicle around you, you were basically going for a jog to get to a point. 2042 biggest complaint map wise was all the maps were way too fucking big with nothing in them. I like Caspian Border and Firestorm as much as the next guy but sometimes it's better to have a few maps like Zavod 311 and Talah Market around.
