That said, supports in bf6 are fucking dogshit and dont revive. Either im unlucky or they are shit at their role.

Conversely, whenever I play Support it seems like every casualty was blinded when they were shot, as I can ping their location and be running up to them whilst charging my defibrillators, and they still decide to quit on me right before I arrive for seemingly no reason.

They should allow you to revive people in the transition from dying to the deploy screen, as it would at least force some of these dickheads to eat the revive they baited me into running through gunfire to get.

Regardless if a game is good or not. A natural decline will always happen. Although having a consistent ~100k players is pretty good.

Support in BF6 is harder than in previous games because of the smaller maps and faster pace but I agree, supports seem very hesitant to put themselves in harms way for a revive.

The faster pace and certainty that you’re going to get shot / flanked when going for a revive doesn’t help either.

Just feels shitty reviving someone and seeing them eat a grenade or get gunned down before having a chance to react.

90% of the support playerbase refuses to press G and throw a fucking smoke. Smokes are very powerful in this game and nobody uses them.

It took me a couple of weeks to convince a friend that no, having frags is not more useful than having smokes.

I did the whole "40 smoke support kills" thing and I literally just ran around throwing smokes. It's nuts how useful they are, but people don't know how to use them half the time. It goes from blocking line of sight from cuck snipers to "im gonna throw this down and run through it and get shot on the other side". Smoke is exactly what I'd love to do primarily in this game. I love support classes; I want to bring utility and unique tactical shit. Instead, Battlefield is just "what kind of flavor do you wanna gun down people with?".

I don't know they could add or change to make a true non-killing support capable of doing though. Sentries and healing in TF2 are easy. Healing in BF? Nobody gives enough of a shit to sit on a support pack anyway. The best LMG is basically an assault rifle. Can't even lay down suppressive fire because the mechanic is gone. I genuinely do not know what keep people coming back to this game if not just "I like de shooty".

You realize how amazing revives are once you don't get any. I primarily play support and enjoy just reviving people, but reality is that if you die, chances are you were sniped or flanked. Rarely is it just "you died and things moved on and you're safe to be revived". I run in to revive people, seemingly out of harms way, just to see 3 people including myself get gunned by a flanking cuck skating the death zone of the map. It's as if even flanking is only done by abusing game mechanics.

However fucked the sci-fi healing dart gun was, it was fun. Keeping people topped just enough to see that they survive an encounter or two they shouldn't have. Shit, if there was a way to buff people to 150% health as support in BF6, I'd do nothing but. Even the fucking drone is insanely OP. People don't look up for 30 secs and you've got the entire team scanned, but oh wait- nobody looks at the fucking minimap.

Unfortunately for games like BF, they need to set out the classes in a way to promote how to play. BF1 had lots of people popping smokes to cover because the class was given a smoke grenade launcher by default.

A large subset of players are too stupid to think.

I played some of that gauntlet mode which actually can be fun despite it being attached to the battle royale.

Smokes nearly broke several of the modes making them ridiculously easy. Stuff like grab the computer and decrypt, hold points, and defend VIPs.

I've replayed Battlefield 4 with its DLC (Dragon's Valley and Naval Strike.) Compared to Battlefield 6, 4's movement and gunplay has more weight, velocity and intensity in action. 6 feels like everything but snipers are more "hit-scan" with what you're pointing at, similar to Call of Duty.

I do know that Battlefield 4 has DLC compared to 6's first few months, so it'd be an unfair comparison from there.

There's something to the gameplay and movement in BF6 that just doesn't quite feel battlefield.

With guns, I find anything that isn't automatic is a 90/10 chance you lose the gun fight. If I don't instantly kill with the first shot of a semi auto or a shot gun. Between the next bullet being chambered and shot. I may recieve a whole mags worth of damage from the enemy.

You even get that thing where you can feel the game lagging and taking longer to fire the next round as it is recieving all the damage at once. The beat of how often the rounds fires takes a little longer and you're dead.

Lol

I am so, so tired. 15 enemy planes shot down with RPGs for engineer. I've played 5-6 games on plane-friendly maps, done nothing but shoot at them. It never fucking works. Flares, misses, ejecting cucks. I swear planes in BF are worse than heroes in SW:BF2. Regenerating armor, in the fucking air?

It's funny, I have a friend who has been a vehicle guy since Battlefield 3. He tells me that the jets / choppers are basically unusable since he's shot down immediately every time.

He's probably used to having mastered the jets and heli's in BF3/4 to the point he's unstoppable.

It's been a long term problem with BF, where these things are balanced for the average player. Not the autistic sperg who masters the flight simulator aspect of the game to the point they are nearly impossible to kill.

Playing BF4 earlier this year, the little bird nerds that were racking up near triple figure kills each round with 1 or 2 deaths max was insane.

Something I did find interesting and was doing for my own amusement is how shit scared they were of being shot down. So just attempting to lock onto them with an AA missile had them constantly running away. Play a round and someone got 86/2. Lasering people where if they had an aimbot you couldn't tell the difference. To then making them spend the entire next round hiding on the edges of the map because you'd attempt to lock onto them and they were too scared.
