From the latest MW5 DLC. Seems like praying to appliances is something ComStar actually does have in common with the AdMech.
I hate that this 40K meme has spread so much. ComStar has never been about worshiping technology, they were all about venerating Blake and his Word, which among other things included preserving technology. They've been Flanderized enough, we don't need toaster fucker memes for them too.

Last time Sarna had an article bringing in current day politics/autism, I remember they got reamed in the comments and were bluntly told to fucking stop it. I'll check in a bit if history repeats itself.
Wow. Unless Sarna has been deleting comments while I was in Vegas and at work, there's only one comment telling them to not bring up current day politics like the troons.

I wouldn't be surprise if Sean is a chaser. Would make sense of it all.

Also finish 2 of 3 of the Blood of Kerensky Trilogy. Enjoying the books so far.

I started playing it a couple days ago. Initially I was put off by the character creation. It defaulted to female she/her character portraits which is fine but it seemed like the gender pronoun change option was kind of hidden. It wasn't a good first impression, especially when there were they/them pronoun options.

After completing the character creation that i had no idea what I was doing, the first mission started. I had just come off Xcom 2 and Wasteland 3 so I was not ready for mech combat. The strategy was so much different. It's more about the best way to tank damage and regulate power rather than utilize cover and positioning. Once I figured out the flow of combat, I started having a great time.

The strategic aspect of the game was definitely designed by an autistic tranny and it's great. There's a lot of mech micromanaging. I fucked up my blackjack because I didn't know how repairing mechs worked. There's a lot of trial and error with the game but it's pretty forgiving, until you get your best pilot killed facing an enemy that outclasses them.

Honestly I've been having a lot of fun with it. I don't know fuck all about Battletech except for Mechwarrior games that I ignored the story for. It's proof that disgusting nutless freaks are capable of creating something good instead of just destroying like a plague of locust.

This tranny didn't craft shit. They slapped Xcom over 30 years of lore that was readily available.

Gave Mechwarrior 5 a try using a hotas flight stick and the VR mod. And good God this shit actually a lot of fun. Makes the game a little bit more challenging when getting used to the flight stick, but the game needs more challenge anyways.

So in stupid news recently Detecroix and his kin released a shitty fanfic anthology. R/Battletech refused it because it contradicts there number 1 rule of not allowing shitty IRL politics to interfere with discussion of the game. Everyone gets butt hurt and they privated the forum. Now we got the "Official Battletec" Reddit and I'm already getting blasted over identity politics.

Well, the best outcome would be the woke retards going to the "official" reddit and leaving r/BattleTech alone. But we know that's not going to happen, they're going to keep brigading the subreddit until they get what they want.

Can we just go back to individually hosted forums, please? This whole "great experiment" of everybody being on a single platform has clearly failed. I want to talk about giant robots and war crimes, not be told to "do better" because some barista who's only there for a community about shoving things up his ass caught a whiff of controversy.

Yeah, Also the originally creator of R/Battletech suddenly came back after 15 years of not being there and purged the mods.

I'm not up to date on that drama (seriously, fuck reddit) so I'm going to ask for some clarification: was that mod purge good or bad?

The original mods where the reason why they kept nuking the Anthology and when the original creator took over he purged the mods and instituted the whole "Battletech is for Everyone" shit.

So, bad thing. Fucking figures.

I yearn for the day we can say "you can be whatever you want and fuck whatever consenting adult you prefer, but if you're a political little asshole you're not welcome here" to these people. Hopefully that day is not so far distant.

From what I was able to see. Mods were deleting the endless horde of minis painted in pride colors and saying it goes against their rule of "no politics." Can read the thread about it here.

On a side note. What House/Nation/Clan are the most and least likely to have trannies attach themselves to it? Most of them seem to flock to Canopus due to the catgirl thing. But you almost never see a Taurian tranny.

What’s funny is that I’ve seen a post about someone’s post getting deleted on the new r/officialbattletech subreddit because they used 3D printed models. All due to the subreddit being affiliated with Catalyst, so they have to use official models!

which is a really fucking odd, considering Battletech has always allowed and even encouraged using proxies or even paper tokens for mechs, I'm still trying to find a Maelstrom model (MTR-5K) for example
