So I found some print files for the unseen versions of the Marauder and the Warhammer. Debating on whether to make the Warhammer go with my Steiner forces or my Taurians. In my head, the Steiners are rich enough to buy the old designs, while the Taurians would be piecemealing the older mech to have it. As for the Maruader, since I already have one with my Taurians, I'll make the unseen a Steiner.

@Gezkill
I think I was just in a lance with you. You playing a wolfhound atm?
I was in a shadowhawk.
Yup that was me. Where you the variant with the PPC?

The ppcs and mrms, on mining. I don’t know what mechs I like on that map yet. Used my c-bills to get an ecm-capable omnimech, which I think will pay dividends. How do you join a company/clan/whatever it is? Are there benefits?
I've never bothered with that aspect of the game so in honestly IDK.

Random pirate Frankenmech I shat out the other night. Essentially had the pirates bash the Hunchback with its IIC counterpart together with RAC/2s "acquired" out from Davion space to make this asshole. I call it the Rumback

I received another major haul of pewter the other day.

Turns out the Highlander 732 Resculpt consists of 14 individual parts. Fourteen. It'll be a bitch and a half to put that thing together, but it's insanely pose-able.
You get individual parts for feet, lower legs, upper legs, hip, torso, head, lower arms, upper arms and a hand.

It also got those funny Waffle-Pattern soles on its feet, I hope I can put together a neat pose that shows them off.

One of my friends likes to pirate it up and pretty much used a jurry rigged Stone Rhino with all of its weapons downgraded with its IS variants.

If you have played mw5 can you say if mech meta is about the same? Just wondering cause I have only been able to play MW5.
I can say for certain that the meta for MW5 is completely different then the stuff in MWO. The only thing that remains the same is to make sure you have as much frontal armor as you can.

Will do. I owe this thread a picture of my Killer Bees' Karnov anyway. It's not yet fully painted (I never got around to do the finishing touches, now it sits on my desk, looking rather rad but also a tiny bit sad, cause it needs a few spots of color here and there. Maybe I'll get around next weekend to finally finish it.

Also, bit of a sidenote, but the Highlander 732 Resculpt is a top-notch model by IWM. It's a clusterfuck to put everything together, but the design is absolutely amazing, I think it's one of the few designs that I like even more than the new plastic minis.
Great level of detail, the whole size-balance for the legs, arms, torso and head is perfect. It looks really mean, like you don't want to mess with it, even while it's just partially assembled.

Nice. I wish the Marauder I got from them could say the same. Took way too much effort to get that to not fall down with a light breeze. Also, the arms were not fun to assemble with how narrow their joints are and one arm is still prone to come apart despite the amount of Gorilla Glue I've used. The Anubis' was irritating too when connecting the legs to the torso, but once the glue started solidifying it was fine.

Yeah. In no small part because you have to pay for repairs and you lose anything you have equiped on a part if it gets destroyed.

Also if anyone notices anything in the trove would you folks let me know? I tried my best to sort through everything but with over 14 gigs of PDFs I might have missed something.

There are no real benefits unless they're people you feel are fun to play with or are at least tolerable. It MIGHT lead to something like getting into a Faction Play drop but that's a big "might".

So The Alpha Strike Starter box got info dumped on what comes with what. Going to pick it up since I could use some of those mechs. Looking to start up some Donegal Guards.

Oh, I'm liking this. I've been meaning to introduce a new group to BT, and having a starter box for Alpha Strike is going to make things a lot easier than having to give people a whole reading list of obtuse BT rulebooks.

This is a pleasant surprise and I want to buy a box.

Honestly its a nice to start with regardless if you want to play Alpha or Classic. Comes with two lances of IS mechs and a star of Clan Mechs and for 80 bucks that aint too bad.
