I miss the days when people used the fucking chat if they don't use microphones, speaking into the void is getting tiresome. But when we do get people talking it's pretty cool...unless they're sweats. Also, I swear this game loves to put me into a match where either the map or the enemy team just hard counters me.
>Fast, mobile mech
>ENTIRE ENEMY TEAM IS LRMs
>No AMS to be found
Like seriously, it was awful. Mostly for them, they countered me hard but not really anyone else. Last match I had a brawler on a long range fighting map. Ffs.
This is just making me want to boot up MW5 Mercs. My main issue is just trying to kill time until the Clan Invasion starts so I can go pummel the shit out of those assholes in Warzone missions for loot and C-bills.
I try to play MW5 for a least a week, modded or not I just stop and delete the game within a few days and don't touch it for months at a time. I seriously can't play this game it's beyond boring. Also I believe there's a mod that lets you choose the Clan Invasion date. Sadly the clan invasion mod is fucked, especially with the Fafnir (they take no damage outside of melee, they barely take melee damage either even with pumping up the melee damage in...YAML I think, I just hotkey kill them). They turned off posts and bug reports (but not the forum so people post there) and pretty much moved everything to some dicksword. People reported it, nothing happened, nothing continues to happen for
10 months. They clearly abandoned the mod.
I'm just hoping MW5Clans survives long enough for modding and career mode to be added. Just get that far, guys, and the community can fix the rest.
Given the layoffs, I doubt it. Which is a death sentence given that unless they shape up now or convince the higher ups that continuing to work on the game is worth the time and money to at least add better modding support and hope more people come, MW5Clans is
fucked. It currently has less players than even MWO.
People saw/played Clans, went right back to MW5 because it got a slight population boost a bit after release, maybe a week.
