Best of This is How You Don't Play's - What is the best TIHYDPs?

I won't repeat suggestions here, but there's a good one that hasn't been mentioned yet, a strange one I'd like to point out & extend a point about a famous one.

The good TIHYDP: Castlevania Lords of Shadow. Highlights including failing at least 2 simple puzzles back in the joyous days without chat, smashing up a controller & calling Kojima a cocksucker & a fag. I was amazed when the SoK Let's Endures took that long to eventually cover it.

The strange TIHYDP: Assassin's Creed: Liberation by imjustsomeasshole, mirrored by 0utsyder. I don't actually remember too much about the TIHYDP, but the interesting point is most of the first 10 minutes is sort of a primer on DSP back in 2014/15 times. All the way through 2015 or so I'd have recommended it as a beginner's video covering many infamous moments as a generic detractor video, before returning to the TIHYDP. This is not the sub 15 minute video, but this one here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN8umU5SiBk

The famous one: We all remember DSP's crouchjump failure. But the scary thing is when you watch Christmas Bedpan's full Black Mesa TIHYDP... you realise that is NOT the first moment where the player was 'required' to crouchjump. DSP glitches his way past at least 2 prior moments, it takes 20 minutes of the TIHYDP to even reach that infamous section.

If you want to see some classic DSP Salt(tm), try some of the GTA TIHYDP's. The good ones GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas, Vice City Stories, and Liberty City Stories (Chaffxgrenade edition). If you want even more, check out the fighting game TIHYDP's. Just about any of them might do.

When it comes to DSP lore and TIHYDP's I am a filthy casual. What are some of the best videos to watch, what are the funniest moments and why should I spend time watching a fat man with a bad goatee play games poorly?
If Phil and Sparrow were smart, they would have gotten a third party who was in on it to manage a channel based on their shittiness and others, and they would make money off the haters as well.

His Resident Evil stuff is freaking hilarious! Code Veronica being my personal favorite..
Phil somehow manages to fight a boss with no weapons, it's a classic to behold

Also, one cannot neglect mentioning the classic MGS trilogy of TIHYDPs.

Ask & ye shall receive:
I like the 1st one more because it is kinda fair to Phil and not too A-Loggy (It is a multi-parter).. But the 2nd is also great.

Edit: Changed out the 1st video to the part detailing the fuckup. It also details how the devs actually anticipated this and saved him from overwriting his save!

I forgot to mention his Sly Cooper, Ratchet & Clank, Jak I and II, Uncharted and Crash Bandicoot trilogy playthroughs were equally awful, especially the first two games of Crash.

The 2000 Spider-Man "play-through" was a travesty to watch, where he started attacking fans of the game and called them idiots for listless reasons. It also had him bitching about everything after the Venom chase, and it never stops. Bonus: He also had no idea a PS1 game can't read a PS2 memory card, and fucking up easy boss fights on that game.

While I don't want to repeat ones that have already been mentioned, his Arkham Asylum episode it just amazingly bad. If you've played the game, right after you get the line launcher you need to go to the mansion and like all Arkham games this new weapon you unlocked is suddenly useful for some puzzles that come your way. You need to use it to get across the room to avoid the toxic gas. It took him, and I'm not kidding, half an hour of running back and forth before remembering to use it. This was before stream chat however so there wasn't anybody telling him what to do.

In the same game you're supposed to grapple up to the room at the top of the staircase and then take down Harley Quinn who's got the commissioner tied up. Phil looks at it. The symbol showing you can grapple up there is clearly shown but he misses it and takes forever to find the solution.

The other favorite is either Portal or Portal 2, I think it's the first one. He'd get stuck on a puzzle and the video would end saying he needed to take a break. And then suddenly when he came back he "figured it out" and would do it properly. Could you be any more obvious in looking these things up online?

There was only one truly difficult puzzle in either two of the games, 8-11.

In general, my favorite DSP failures are boss fights, though. It is amazing watching this moron fail over and over again to understand even the most basic boss behaviors and just keep doing the same stupid thing over and over again, while bitching and complaining about how unfair it is. In almost every fight, he has this moronic just walk up to the boss and hulk out on it, don't even try avoiding instadeath attacks even when they're massively telegraphed seconds in advance, bitch about those, too, blame the game some more, then do exactly the same thing again even when it's obviously not working.

A lot of these he finally just wins by pure dumb luck after flailing like an idiot for nearly forever.

So I find skipping right to the end of these things is often funnier because just watching him grunt and flail for hours is pointless. He's a moron doing that, but not a funny moron.

I'd also pick games where you actually know the game because it makes it more fun to watch him chimp out after doing something obviously totally wrong.

Probably one of the best examples of this, he hits Sigma by jumping into him and shooting and thus figures that's what you are supposed to do to beat him, despite the fact that it's clearly not a good idea at all.

Then there's the actual ragequit itself which is even funnier.

It's been mentioned but not linked but the Forza Horizon 3 TIHYDP deserves more love. A wonderful showcase of Phil not knowing how to drive, how tuning or controlling the car works, or him just refusing to understand (and bitching every time he finds one) a drift or essentially any event that isn't a race, and dear god his sheer and endless abuse of that damn rewind feature.

There is just nothing like watching Phil fishtail 8 times at the exact same corner and rewind to do it a 9th or try and do a drift event without using the E-Brake ever.

I mentioned this in why do you watch Phil and Phil claiming you had to do a "puzzle slash" on Sundowner in Metal Gear Rising just because you had to cut his shield along the marks indicated was hilarious.

That and he had a hard time on one of the easier bosses due to not being able to figure the "puzzle" out.
