I cant really find much info about this further than the deleted mod pages, but a modder named Colemanallen1987 made two province mods, Valenwood and Black Marsh.

Both these mods are removed, but the reasoning is interesting. Apparently Valenwood was removed prior due to 'stolen beyond skyrim assets' or some bullshit, but even after the removal it was still deleted. The only info I could find was this reddit post:

I am interested in this possible deal beyond skyrim has with nexus. Based on what I have seen, there seems to be some sort of underground modding mafia, restricting mods to specific devs only. Also of note is that there is no planned Valenwood mod for beyond skyrim, the removal is probably just plain spite, or they saw the dev as a threat to their monopoly.

I just spent the better part of my afternoon looking over these Discord logs and Jesus Christ, it's a shitshow. I don't even know where to begin. This whole project is run like a mix between a fortune 500 company's HR department and every joke about British government I've ever heard. Attached is a "report" from an "open forum" held by "the council" in response to a 135-page document (that is unfortunately no longer public) containing complaints levied at the Beyond Skyrim: Morrowind leadership. I was able to find this screencap, which was evidently the opening salvo in this unbelievably autistic game of discordcorpo politics:

Remarkable. It's no small wonder why BS is moving so slowly considering the monumental effort you have to make just to attempt to remove some tranny jannies, and as far as I can tell, this all amounted to nothing.

The fact there is all this bureaucracy for a mod is not a good sign. If modders want to make their big project team organized like a corporation go get a job at one of those instead of sucking out all of the fun outside of something others do in their free time. When you have a group of people who do nothing but company LARP it should be no surprise progress is made at a snail's pace.

If modders want to make their big project team organized like a corporation go get a job at one of those instead of sucking out all of the fun outside of something others do in their free time. When you have a group of people who do nothing but company LARP it should be no surprise progress is made at a snail's pace.

Put in the OP! You're making this newfag blush, sir. It does make me feel like I didn't do my due diligence, however. I didn't go over much before the /v/ leak and there's bound to be more juicy stuff in there. I'd encourage anyone with the time to waste to look over them. The Charter, which highlights Beyond Skyrim's obsession with secrecy, hierarchy, and larping as a corporate entity, was completely neglected as I don't have anywhere near the requisite level autism to tackle it. For several months after the leak, the Project Lead server was exclusively concerned with reforming it to prevent not only leaks to the public but also leaks from the Project Lead server to the individual team servers. No transparency allowed, whether you're a member of Beyond Skyrim or not.

Also just want to give a quick shout out to BASED boomer Mathy, the man that is such a content machine that even the tranny jannies are forced to bend to his will.

I really hope we get more leaks in the future, I'd kill to see that 135 page document or the Cyrodiil discord during 1shoe's meltdown.

This is why TR chose to make almost everything about the project open to the public, after over 20 years and the project almost dying you tend to realize what works and doesn't work.

This is true of every modding project I have been a part of. BS included. Even TR suffers from this to a lesser but still significant degree. Generally these kinds of mods have tranny jannies who hire pretty much any sycophantic monkey. They do this because those sycophants suck their micro e-dicks. And it makes it look like the modders are "real devs" with a "team". Not realizing they're a fucking cargo cult emulating stupid and wasteful behaviour from real devs. Half the reason games are shit now is teams are bloated with several hundred unnecessary people who are just there out of a weird belief that manpower = speed. When it fucking doesn't in game dev at all. But I digress. The successful mods have at least one autist who is actually talented and does all of the work. And everyone around them are lazy children and adults with arrested development. So just like their home life they see no problem letting a useful member of society clean up their shit whilst they groom each other in their programming socks. It's just a big game to these people. The unnecessary bureaucracy in particular is another cargo cult emulation. Devs have it because executive producers in game dev are some of the most grossly incompetent cretins you've ever seen. And think they can hide that with bureaucracy. Much like "dev leads" for mods.

Priorities! Is this something we really needed to know? Is it actually a part of the gameplay or are they just looking for reasons to put in their fetish?
