Achpahks" (what they're calling Argonians) are gays and trannies here but they hate gay marriages because it doesn't make eggs in their mod lore? How horribly ironic. It would almost be funny and based if this weren't filled to the brim with genital fuckery, pedophilia and implied incest.

Is Achpahks some shitty fan fiction tier bullshit writing or did thy find some obscure kirkbride fuckery that thy butcher and decided to put it into the mod
o well, at least some cool stuff like concept art and in game models are coming from this mod. I hope at least cyrodill and high rock doesn't turn into complete shit

I have never heard that name used before reading that doc. Saxhleel is the name they use for themselves in the lore, while everyone else calls them Argonians. I even looked through a couple of wikis for some more confirmation. A search for "Achpahks" also brings up absolutely nothing. So it's pointing to it being more scaly fan fic. Literally on the tier of Frontier.

jokes aside some characters throughout the series know they're in a game (The canonicity about that knowledge varies so ymmv) but just imagine how fucking terrifying the sheer butchery most of the BS team is doing to the lore must be to people in universe.

I wish all of the BS drama wasn't unknown to the public and behind closed doors, really the only thing we can do is wait for another leak. Which tbh I think has a somewhat high probability of occurring again. And besides that, the project will never finish completely so after it dies I think a lot of things will come out.

Beyond Skyrim has started yet another project, this time for Valenwood (after bullying a modder that already made all of Valenwood out of the modding community). They claim to have a team of 150 people, which is larger than the dev team for Skyrim, which was roughly 100 people. Oblivion was 70 people, and morrowind was 36. At this point they have more people than Bethesda did, and more time than Bethesda did, yet still have nothing to show.

At this point the entire 'project' is just a bunch of concept art and google docs pages.

Bethesda seriously needs to step in and shut BS down
They're bullying anyone that can take downloads away out of the ballpark.

The BS team has essentially adopted the "Join Us or Die" mentality. Any new talent they spot either has to be recruited or banned, and if the new talent is making a new lands mod they get furiously salty over it as if BS somehow owns exclusive rights to new lands mods. Worst part of it was (back when their forums and discord were open) seeing new and promising talent that knelt to them get regulated to doing crap work.

With a team larger than Bethesda's that's raking in who knows how much in donations, its a wonder why Bethesda hasn't intervened yet, unless they're afraid of fan backlash again.

If they just say something like: 'The team behind Beyond skyrim have been attacking mods that add new lands to Skyrim, or absorbing already existing ones to add to their own' yada yada yada.
Just explain that the team have been essentially strangling modders to join or die.
Give jobs to the Cyrodyill team, though.

They are making $0 in donations. People have offered to donate and they always refuse because of 1. legal reasons, and 2. impossible to know who gets what amount money do to the size of the teams and ever-changing team members in this all volunteer project.

I bet it's something like 50 "concept artists", 50 "writers", 49 "developers", and 1 actual coder.
All of them jerking off to concept art in their programming socks, of course.

I am going to counter signal, there are probably like +20 guys whose whole job is just placing clutter, more than half of everybody who ever worked on TR (me included) only ever did that because it is the first thing you learn after opening the Construction Set, My bet is the real team for a given province is actually like 12-40, but to many cooks step on each others shoes. I also bet VA's are included. Volunteer projects get Volunteer effort, you always get what you payed for.

Its still way more than Bethesda had during the development of Morrowind. They managed to make their best game (a fact) with a team of 18 programmers (they were building the actual engine at the time as well), with around 20ish artists and a single concept artist and only 8 writers. If they had actual direction, while still being a volunteer team, they could have finished two or three provinces by now (thats probably generous). The fact Enderal is out just shows that a volunteer team making a large scale mod is easily possible if you have actual direction instead of the weird bureaucratic mess they have. The worst part of all this is the black hole of modding talent they have created, it almost makes me want to silently make a province mod, then host it on my own website and allow people to use it as a modding base, allow the modding community to build the content, just provide the base landmass.
