not a lot of people are invested on reading quran, i can understand that because quran is kinda complicated to understand compared to bible. It also requires a lot of autistic level of knowledge of islamic world in general. Christianity gets this "bible fandom" because there's tons of information about christianity widely spread over time, you don't need to be a christian just to know the lore behind christianity and it's practices.
It's not that complicated. Get a Quran in your own language with tafseer/commentary notes. Typically that means there will be historical context added to the versets and their adjacence to historical events. There is also a lot of prayer-type shorter chapters, which unless you're a believer hold little relevance. What's important are the historical relationships in Mecca and Medina, the Jewish tribes, the Christian sages of the area, the polytheistic degeneracy and evil that dominated the lands, and the absolutely stunning expansion of Islam in the peninsula and beyond, at first driven by ascetism, self-sacrifice and faith.
It's worth reading history beyond that, cause their whole civilization went to shit and infighting in mere decades, brought down by greed and new found wealth. Gone was the ascetism of the desert warrior and his honor, replaced by palaces copied from the Byzantines and Persians, and lives of luxury.
Absolutely fascinating history and clash of civilizations. Worst part is that most Arabs have no fucking idea about their past nor do they care. My friend (medic from Syria) was always so sad about how much the decay has set in his society.
And that was before the war.
Modernity can be a cancer in many ways.

Islam and Arabs etc. are FINE, as long as they remain in their countries. Much to learn from each other.
I agree in my country Jordan is about 11% Christian (most of them Greek Orthodox I believe) thankfully there is no hate between us.

And btw if you guys had balls you'd ban salafism and all forms of extremism and deport "sharia for UK and France" people these niggers are as much of a problem in Europe as they are in the middle east.

I don't think I agree that should be banned or that it's an extreme form of Islam. I'm more of a demographics dude. Even if we magically remove Salafism, Wahhabism from let's say France, the Arab and black youths there will still largely hate the natives. In fact, a lot of those Muslims are nowhere near observant and religious, they are simply a rebellious minority, and they see themselves as different ethnically and racially, and they despise the natives based on (understandable for France) colonial era resentment, Israel aid, NATO participation etc.
I want the Westoids to stop bombing Arabs, Muslims etc. I want a stop to economic migration. I want all that refuse to integrate in our admittedly degenerate societies sent home. And I want Muslims to stop seeing the planet in Dar al-Harb and Dar al-Islam dichotomies. Then we should have comfy collaborations, diplomatic talks, commerce and cultural exchanges, and learn from each other.
Pipe dreams I know but would be a better scenario than the bloothirsty BS we have today.

Shame about tranny Jesus, but the Wolfy art is actually quite nice for the more adaptational pieces. I especially like his rendition of Matthew 14:22-33. Doesn't particularly surprise me he's Filipino, they have a massive Christian demographic. Hopefully artistic darwinism wins in favor of the art that isn't profane, I like people being able to confidently illustrate their faith without having to subvert it for social points.

I got you beat on Bible fanfiction.

Who was Jesus's biological father? Couldn't be Joseph, since he didnt fuck Mary. Couldn't be God, because he's metaphysical and not biological.

Maybe Mary did get FUCK RAPED BY NIGGERS, so that's why Jesus wuz black and shiet. Most likely it was a Roman.

What I mean is that they are doing is something akin to Tumblr users taking white anime characters and changing the color of their skin solely just for the sake of it. Just to have them as black or brown.
It's not about accuracy, being realistic, or whatever, it's about swapping the skin color to own the heckin' evil christian chuds and to induce rage, simple as. The kind of people that draws Jesus with tits and Jesus getting a mastectomy wouldn't draw him with a lighter shade.
I also think that they also do it with the purpose of "hey Jesus was brown so here's why you should be open to more brown people", similar to when some atheist or believer in other religion says "look at what the Bible says, you should absolutely do as such" to get their way.

There's nothing genuine, just subversion.
there was a drawing that wolfy made that had Jesus saying something like "What happened to loving thy neighbour?? I specifically ASKED for that!" I'm assuming this is a jab at the heckin' evil christchuds who don't like troons and faggots lol

He also especifically asked for leaving EVERYTHING for him. That does include hedonistic fetishism.

This has probably already been said plenty of times, but I'm not going to read the rest of the sperging that a thread like this was bound to generate-- but I definitely got mixed feelings about these people. On one hand treating the Bible like it's Harry Potter and adding that alphabet soup spice into it is quite disrespectful at best, probably blasphemous at worst. But on the other hand, I think anything that makes young people reconnect with Jesus is objectively good so I can't really rag on it. I just hope that it doesn't get to the point in the future where they're teaching this twisted version of the Bible, and instead it acts as a Segway to understanding the Bible properly, but then again, ultra progressive churches have been a thing for ages.

Church Fathers writing and gossiping about the Marcionites, Gnostics, Docetists, and Montanists was the 4th century equivalent of KiwiFarms.
