Wild how people on this site can laugh at dangerhairs and troons and soyboys and whatnot who are about to be imminently v& for threatening cops or Trump or whoever on twitter but then do the same shit here.
That said it's kind of impressive that there are probably glowies getting paid to read (and maybe even post) on an autistic shitposting forum.
And yeah there are definitely a lot of tards on A&H but I do enjoy it solely because at this point it's the only way I know about shit like Islamic terror attacks or mass shootings committed by someone that's not a white dude or riots and whatnot. The most retarded subforum on an autistic gossip site has become a better source of news than multi-billion dollar media outlets

I certainly respect that the news/politics end of the farms is a bunch of screeching spastics, especially in the past year or so a irl things have been getting hotter, but the horrific truth of Clown World is that a forum built on a foundation of stalking speds and kooks with a heavy eye towards backing up documentation has resulted in one of the only even slightly reliable sources of information of the goings on in politics and the rest of the world.

People do get angry at particularly stupid articles like most of what The Root puts out, but the thing is they get angry because they vehemently disagree with the message of the article. It is GOOD to vehemently disagree with things morons say but why the fuck get angry about it? That's arguably what the writers want. Things make a lot more sense when you filter a lot of those articles through a lens of "this person is an overpaid troll who is trying way too hard" and at that point you realize the correct response is to viciously mock their shitty bait, not fucking swallow it hook-and-all.
It freaks me the hell out that their racket works so well, and god knows I've fallen prey to it too. That's fucking frightening, that level of "mental hijack".

Null can get rid of A&N and Happenings if he likes, I would not blame him if he did. However I think the current political polarization is simply too much and that rhetoric is not going away any time soon. Particularly since the TDS and BDS threads are still up which means that discussion would likely go there even more than it usually does.

I disagree, actually. The whole POINT these articles are written are to bait reactions out of people. I used to get angry and outraged at this shit too, but I've realized it's ultimately better just to give them no attention or thought at all. At most, laugh at how fucking ridiculous it is, but if you're going to get angry, it's better just to ignore it completely. Getting Mad At The Internet(tm) at idiot journos isn't going to actually CHANGE anything, so you might as well save yourself the stress and not pay them any attention at all.
Also, yeah, as long as A&H stays around it WILL attract politispergs. The problem (a website ostensibly devoted to laughing at stupid people on the internet being taken over by retarded politcal bickering) isn't going to be solved by banning individual spergs as they pop up - you have to cut the problem out at the source by removing what attracts said spergs in the first place.
