I disagreed with this one, bc even without sigs ban, people would still complain about election thread from Deep Thoughts board, threads from AnN/ Articles board and The happenings board for attracting a bunch of dangerous, violent and exceptional individuals who are making crazy posts on these threads which is true.
Sig in the other hand did a "weak parody" type post of these people on election thread from deep thoughts board which he got attention from feds and later banned.
I am glad that null is taking some measures on these people.

Yeah, it's almost like I've asked Null where are the boundaries, since it wasn't obvious that Sieg wasn't going to shoot anyone and just acted like a spastic, so that shit would have less chances of happening again. My bad.

That is very reasonable, we don't need people making threats like that here, whether they were serious about it, or if they were just some edgelord.

Also, violent threats, all the way down to general trolling have always been against the rules on this site so it's not like it's the start of major censorship on here.

Is it possible to notify people of this post? I imagine a lot of users don't visit the homepage, and just have certain threads pinned to their browser, and therefore won't see this warning

They're almost certainly looking into it, and I'm sure they've had a presence (of at least keeping an eye) on this site long before sig's shitpost.
But the FBI needs valid reason to actually act, and follow through with an investigation. Sig's word, especially if he told them he's just a troll and can't remember any users of interest, isn't enough reason for the FBI to act and get warrants for IPs.
