Even with the dark mode, there are still weird color contrasts which hurt my eyes. Maybe I'm just a sensitive sally, but I figured I'd say something in case the user input is useful in some way.

I like the loading animation being green instead of gray. Good change.

you are using a privacy tool that destroys clipboard content.
this is the issue with modern page design. they love using these auto-contrast tools that create 100 different fucking shades of gray instead of having a pallet of a few different colors applied in consistent places.

That definitely explains it. I honestly wasn't sure if my eyes decided to shit the bed today or something, so I really appreciate you pointing that out. Is this something that is actively being worked on for the site, or will people like me just have to suffer and get used to it?

This looks like an issue with WebGL. Uploads to sites break when it's blocked. Are you running Librewolf or the Mullvad Browser? There should be a little image icon in the search bar right next to the padlock whenever a site is requesting WebGL. You can allow it there.

Fair point. I apologize for not being more specific from the get-go.
I think what is specifically bothering me is, as you said, the 100 different shades of gray and the auto-contrast tools. The colors are less consistent and the site looks, overall, a lot more "gray." I feel like the site is trying to use softer colors and has achieved some weird uncanny valley situation that hurts my eyes when I look at it for too long.
The shade of gray for the username box is much brighter than the box for the post text, creating a slight but uncomfortable contrast. I also think the post text itself is a different color than before, more gray than white, that is contrasting poorly with the text box color. I'm also pretty sure the green color text for usernames, the like button, quote button, etc. is different and more gray, or softer in general, than a strong color.
The new dark background for the box you write your post in also hurts the eyes since it's the new psuedo-gray-white text on a much darker background. That's definitely not something I like, but others may disagree.
Sorry if none of this makes sense or sounds completely retarded, I'm not a webpage designer. It's also quite possible that my eyes are autistic.

I really like the darker type box! But the buttons still seem a bit weird to me. I'm not sure if the light gray and dark gray borders are inversed? They look like they are depressed and stuck.

Broken (on mobile): When I long-press the Like button to select other Internet Stickers, it now opens the browser's right-click menu as well as the sticker panel. Previously, it would just correctly open the stickers.

I like the use of WebP instead of PNGs for uploads now. Used to annoy the hell out of me when people would upload pointlessly uncompressed content that takes forever to load just because that was the behavior when pasting from clipboard.
But one consequence of this is that EXIF data is now stripped from uploaded JPEGs upon conversion. Debatable whether this is a universally bad thing, there's some innocent forum users who aren't technologically savvy who have been caught out, but it's not great for archiving that there's really no way to access the orginal file.

Could you make webp conversion toggleable on upload (default on if you insist) or at least implement a way to serve the original file that was uploaded (viewing fullres in new tab, maybe)?
