Looks to be loading from cache on my versions of LibreWolf, FireFox, and Tor Browser.
Are you noticing it loading from remote from your browser or from your server logs? Because it looks like the browser is just reading the cached versions.

I think they should be even more visible. Maybe a complete border around the alert or a muted background color.

I think I fixed it. The CSS for watched threads and the main discussion lists are completely different so I might've made some other links white on other pages.

My main gripe with the update is that "Watched Threads" used to be a button on the main menu bar, not under "Forums" in a drop down. Not a fan of having to click twice.
