Would it be possible to add a user option that disables gif avatars being shown?
I currently block them using uBlock by hand because the animation playing in my peripheral vision on a second screen is annoying, but I do not want to blanket disable them because sometimes gif are posted as actual content.

Aside from that, would it be possible to get a black and white theme or would that be too similar to the high contrast one?

I'll add some visual issues to your list.
The attach files button disappears into the background in "dark mode", it seems like the button itself does not have good border/shadow all around it, leading to the visual. Low contrast, looks weird.

[EDIT] Likely unrelated, but it appears the save draft option also broke and does not delete the draft after posting it sometimes. I accidentally added my previous post at the top of this one because of that. I removed it now.
 
I like High Contrast. Is it possible to add the "Change width" toggle to it like the other themes?
